It’s a good day to look around and count the blessings of this great country.
Two Hundred forty-nine years ago on this day, the Continental Congress of the United States adopted the American Flag 🇺🇸 . The Flag was to symbolize Freedom, Liberty, and Human rights. The design consisted of Thirteen Stripes to represent the thirteen colonies that declared independence from England and the Stars represented a new constellation of unity in which each state was represented that has now grown to 50 United States. Today we celebrate the Flag along with American ideals it represents and honor with gratitude those who have served and sacrificed to defend it 🇺🇸 🙏🇺🇸
