“My studio is an upstairs room in my home. It’s filled to bursting with treasures housed for future use, with two lab tables in the middle. I feel safe higher up, so I prefer working at a bar-height table. The tables are ideal for all the methods I want to use: I can sit and stitch, draw, or do admin on my laptop, but I can also stand and do more messy art forms, like printmaking. I do not have one set skill; I love to paint, draw, embroider, print, etch, dye, felt, knit ... all come to fruition at this table.” — Ailish Henderson

“One of the most important parts of my studio are the floor-to-ceiling mood boards behind my desk, which I always refer to for color, pattern, and shape inspiration. The boards are a very important part of my process and keep me on track when creating a collection.

I like to think my studio is a space of organized chaos! Although it is one open, fluid space, I have sections within the space for all of the different parts of my business. A large timber desk is where I do my admin work, there is a corner for photographing content for social media and my online store, a couch offers me a place to sit and write down all of my thoughts and notes, and my painting area is where I create my original works.” — Karina Jambrak
