We are pleased and excited to announce that we have worked out an agreement with Blood Music on our upcoming release, which means (drumroll.....) VINYL!!! Read more details below!

Blood Music is extremely proud to welcome to its roster - the most insanely talented young band of the avant garde metal scene: Xanthochroid. This incredible progressive unit from USA has shaken the underground with a single, solitary masterful EP and a single, solitary masterful album showcasing an individuality whose boundaries lie in the realms of Ihsahn -Official-, Ne Obliviscaris, Wintersun, and Opeth.

After nearly a year of discussions, we've settled on an agreement with the band. One part battle-to-the-death and another part Mortal-Kombat-style-friendship, we've decided to co-release Xanthochroid's sophomore effort - "Of Erthe and Axen" - together between Blood Music (Finland/USA) and the band's own Erthe & Axen Records (USA) as a worldwide split release, where both of us will sell to each and every corner of the globe with a winner-take-all vibe.

Along with the deal comes some juicy goodness in the form of vinyl, full scale digital distribution to all platforms, mega high-quality CDs in worldwide distribution, yadda yadda.

The basic tenet is - we both love what each other is doing - want to see each others' material spread wider and even see some of this music hit our turntables. And if you're patient, we'll get you some more detailed information soon. But let us assure you, you'll be spinning quite a lot of this madness on wax in due time.
