We are delighted to see the CAKE MEDIA grow and Paige is the perfect addition to the team! 🍰

Paige has over a decade of experience working in hospitality on Maui as a resort manager and concierge across several properties on island.

Her time as a concierge required being a boots on the ground explorer of the island and being the first to experience new activities and restaurants to share with locals and visitors alike.

Well traveled since childhood, Paige grew up in South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mexico City before earning her Bachelor’s Degree in English at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

In 2010, Paige’s sense of adventure and her love of the ocean brought her to Maui on a whim, and she’s stayed put ever since!

An avid foodie, Paige is a champion of Maui’s restaurants (both big and small) where her passion for hospitality and love of food come together in great meals with good company.

Paige is also a reader, an ocean swimmer, and coffee lover.

Introducing the newest member of the Cake Media team .phelpsfilms

Davin is a professional photographer and videographer based on Maui, Hawaiʻi, with a career rooted in a lifelong passion for visual storytelling.

His love for photography and filmmaking began at age 13, documenting friends skateboarding and surfing. While in grade 9, with encouragement from his English teacher, Davin helped establish his high school’s first photography class, where he learned film photography and darkroom development—an early foundation that shaped his artistic eye.

Traveling through Europe during high school further fueled his passion, inspiring him to capture landscapes, architecture, and culture through the lens.

After graduating, Davin studied photography and cinematography in college, earning a degree in Digital Media Arts. He later joined the action sports brand Volcom, starting in the mailroom and working his way into sales and marketing while gaining hands-on experience alongside some of the industry’s most influential photographers and filmmakers of that time. This period included photographing surf and skate competitions and ultimately led to an assignment on Maui, where he photographed surfing and fell in love with the island.

In 2013, Davin and his wife relocated to Maui, where he launched his own photo and video business. Now over a decade later, he specializes in weddings, marketing content, and underwater photography. His work has been published in such magazines as Vogue, Surfer Magazine, Stab Magazine, Surf Art Magazine, and Vice. Davin has contributed to four documentaries, including a 2025 Hawaii International Film Festival award winner for Best Made in Hawaiʻi Feature. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing, underwater photography, and coaching his children’s baseball and football teams.

Already known as one of the best restaurants on Maui, Honu is a place where culinary artistry takes center stage. Every dish is crafted with intention. If there is a way to make their own syrups from scratch, they do it. They spend extra hours in the kitchen each day perfecting their demi glacé. They support local fishermen, farmers and suppliers, ensuring every plate is fresh, local and full of flavor. Their wine list is carefully chosen by their in-house sommelier to create the perfect pairing for every meal. 🍷

Over the next few months, Honu will be showing you how much love and aloha goes into every dish, cocktail and glass of wine. We are here to help tell that story…

Amy is a highly skilled professional photographer with an impressive 15 years of experience based here on the stunning island of Maui, specializing in weddings and portraits. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Media and spent a significant part of her early career working in Film and Television in the UK until 2009.

At that point, she decided to embark on a journey to travel the world, which ultimately led her to the breathtaking landscapes of beautiful Maui.

Amy possesses a keen attention to detail and a distinctive eye for aesthetics, which allows her to utilize color and light masterfully to create striking and creative images.

She absolutely cherishes the outdoor lifestyle, often spending her days enjoying time at the beach with her loving family of four or exploring the mountains alongside her beloved horses.

We’re thrilled to see the first local, family-owned coffee shop returning to Lahaina!

For this logo, our goal was to design branding that truly reflects Lahaina, incorporating the essence of West Maui through the mountains, ocean waves, and a nod to the perfect cup of coffee as well as the coffee beans they are using which are roasted on island. 🌊☕

Born and raised in Lahaina, Zoe continues to call it home, where she lives with her husband and their two young kids. With over a decade of experience in graphic design and social media marketing on Maui, she brings a thoughtful, creative touch to everything she does.

Zoe’s passion lies in using creativity to tell stories that connect people and showcase the beauty of everyday life.

Outside of work, she loves sewing, beachcombing for shells, and planning new adventures with her family.
