My show Radio Clash is an alphabet soup of subterranean music with roots in punk rock encompassing current indie, classic alternative, electro, new wave, indie sleaze and beyond.

If emo is still on your mind from last show, check out this! If only it were happening in our neck of the woods.

Ozzy Osbourne, the heavy metal legend who dominated rock for decades as a solo artist and member of Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 76.

I play Joy Division a lot on my show Radio Clash on Mana'o Radio, 91.7 FM, Maui, Hawaii I have a special place in my heart for Ian Curtis, who would’ve been 59 today.

Joy Division’s music in the late 70s was totally avant-garde. They CREATED post-punk, making punk rock not only danceable, but cerebral. After Ian’s death by su***de, the rest of the guys formed New Order — one of the most successful electronic new wave acts with a wealth of hit singles..

JD’s one and only most popular music video — Love Will Tear Us Apart — in the comments. But Isolation and Transmission are my faves.

This week’s theme on Radio Clash is… there is no theme. Anything goes... requests welcome.

I’ve shined a spotlight on disco punk. Paid tribute to Brian Wilson by playing the cascade of artists influenced by him. I’ve done deep dives into artists like The Mountain Goats and Conor Oberst. Celebrated Pride.

But now welcome to the Wild Card show.

From Herbie Hancock to Jimi Hendrix. The Dead Milkmen to Dead Kennedys. The Kinks to KMFDM. Madonna to Mudhoney. Zeppelin to Zappa. And on and on.

This is a grab-bag playlist and I want you to help create it. Make a request in the comments here and I just might play it. Anything is fair game. Or call me live in studio this Friday night - 808.242.5666 (KMNO)

Brooklyn's finest disco-punk. Tune In Friday July 4 at 8PM HST for a spotlight on DFA Records. Mana'o Radio, 91.7 FM, Maui, Hawaii Whatever you call it... dance rock, disco-punk, indie sleaze, I like to call it just electro. But definitely not EDM or electronica!

I'll also have new music from Foo Fighters — with Dave Grohl on drums! — The Lemonheads, Ty Segall, Ben Kweller, Frankie Cosmos, The Bug Club, and more.

You’ll never guess what number-one is. A great pop song to be sure, but I wouldn’t have ranked it that high.

Whats your favorite track from the 90s. i have a 90s set coming up on Radio Clash. Any requests?

The tracks that defined the ’90s, including Björk, Biggie, Mariah, Bikini Kill, Aaliyah, 2Pac, and many, many more.

Check out my show this Friday!

Aloha. Conor Bezane here a.k.a. DJ Zero in Maui As a disc jockey and a single gay guy, i’m inclined to celebrate pride month through song. This Friday night on Radio Clash... Happy Pride!

The first hour of my playlist on June 27 will be honoring the LGBTQ+ community. But i’m not talking about the usual suspects. I won’t be playing disco artists, Madonna, Cher or Lady Gaga. They have their place. But this isn't commercial radio. It's Mana'o!

I’m talking about q***r artists that represent the full spectrum of the indie community. Songs with LGBTQ+ themes or bands with q***r members. Or just just bands that are q***r-friendly. And because this is Radio Clash, punk plays a big role. I’ll be spinning some of the best q***rcore out there.

I hope you tune in Friday at 8PM HST. And streaming at manaoradio.com starting Saturday. Requests welcome.

I dropped this record on my show Friday night and it apparently slayed. It's the DFA Remix of Paper Planes by M.I.A.

I discovered it just a few days ago. And I'm obsessed! WTF... it's better than the original! Holy bass, Batman!

Brendan from Haiku called to tell me I was "killin' it" when I played this. He requested Dead Kennedys, which I will play this Friday.

Also in the set, some disco punk like The Rapture, The Faint, and LCD Soundsystem. Just stuff we used to dance to in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC circa 2001. I guess they call it indie sleaze now. I call it "electro" or "disco punk."

I'll definitely add this song to my arsenal.

I've been "collecting" songs since I was a little kid. This one is definitely going into the vault.

My show Radio Clash is streaming now on manaoradio.com. Direct link in the comments.

Paper Planes is deep in the mix. Be sure to listen to my opening monologue and tribute to Brian Wilson.

My show Radio Clash Friday night 6/20 I'm honoring the avant-garde. To the musical architects and midnight maestros. The night-owl k**b twiddlers. To the creative heroes who risk everything and win big.

I’m talking about Brian Wilson, and the cascade of Brian-esque music influenced by the creator of the Beach Boys’ perfect-ten 1966 album “Pet Sounds.”

I'll be playing newer acts that have borrowed a page from Brian's indie-rock-inspiring playbook.

You won't wanna miss this set of music, some artists familiar and others lesser-known.
Brian unfortunately died last week. Rest in power.

Tune in LIVE 8PM HST Friday 6/20. Or catch the show on-demand starting Saturday on manaoradio.com/radio-clash or the KMNO app.

If you wanna get social or talk story. I'm also on TikTok @ conor.zero and Instagram @ conor_maui
