My conversations have been about prayer lately and the response I get is “all I can do is pray” in a tone that already sounds like defeat. When we pray, when we have conversations with God it’s guaranteed He hears (Psalm 116:1-2). We want to remind ourselves it’s not a dismissive thing when we pray it’s EVERYTHING we can do more than our own actions could ever be. This short story of Lydia and her gathering women together to pray is a perfect example of everything we should be doing for Gods Kingdom. Come with us , let’s go down to the river to pray my sisters.

Are you in the midst of arguments and quarrels, of fighting and bickering, of disagreements and conflict? Well let me tell you sisters, it’s a great place to be!!! In the middle of these situations is God waiting for you and me to realize He is there and for lack of better words we need to get out of the way. These battles are not ours. These battles are not between you and that family member, or me and whoever disagrees. These battles are not about the flesh but the spirit. These battles are not ours so we’re gonna talk about not putting ourselves in the middle of them Amen?! Join us tomorrow at 10am for an in depth conversation about the Flesh and Spirit.
