Madam Leota’s Swinging Wake did not disappoint- the music was so incredible and the showstoppers were worth the price of admission. Our first Oogie Boogie Bash - but certainly not our last.

We took a moment to check out Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner at Storytellers Cafe. The food was outstanding but the characters were top notch. Daisy wound up stealing the show as a Dancing Diva. Boo to You music during the dance break gave us all the feels from WDW.

The New animatronic on Pirates of the Caribbean - I can certainly understand why people are upset with the changes because it seems somewhat of of place on this historic attraction. Since we don’t consider DIsneyland our home park I’m not disrupted by this change as much.

The headless horseman helps kick off Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake at Disney California Adventure. But the true heroes are the cast members who follow him and his steed.

Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz shows off his Stinkin-ator at Disney California Adventures Oogie Boogie Bash. We have enough candy to@last the rest of the year- and enough memories to last a lifetime.

Epcot hosted a meet and greet with Baymax for years and then when they renovated the hub - his meet and greet never came back. San Fransokyo is a great new theme for the wharf proving that sometimes the simplest reimagining can make a world of difference to the guests.

One summer- two parks. Back at Disneyland for the first time in four years and have a chance to see some of my favorites. There are a few attractions that were closed during our last visit- so we are looking forward to sharing a lot of first rides together as a family.

It’s so cliche to eat here- but when you are traveling with a first timer, I feel like Chef Mickeys is a must do experience. Then all of a sudden it becomes so apparently clear that it is a cliche because it is simply a wonderfully perfect Disney experience. I am so happy we went full tilt this last trip- because it was certainly the trip of a lifetime for our family. Of course I had to snap a photo with my favorite Donald on what was supposed to be our last day before flight cancellations.

It’s been a while since I’ve been inspired to make a post on Instagram- Disney has become a place where I can consume magical moments and share them with an audience of two people. For a brief time yesterday I took a break and just sat by the Koi pond to reflect upon years of shows and content creation; ultimately my retirement from both.

Every so often someone will reach out to share how much they enjoyed the podcast or to say they miss it. In those moments I won’t lie, I find myself contemplating a revival, but ultimately I have said all I ever wanted and experienced more than I ever hoped as part of my podcasting journey. Now much like these fish - I find myself in pure contentment to be a part of the pond while others race about their day to capture the parks. Thanks for coming to visit this old fish every now and again- he really appreciates the memories.
