It's Throwback Thursday!
On The First Day God created Heaven and Earth.
On The Second Day God created...
On the Eighth Day God created Heaven On Earth.
Of course by that I mean Chicken Parmigiana - Nature's most perfect food.
And this time we are talking my all time favorite quick service meal.
It was at Pinocchio Village Haus in the Magic Kingdom and it was magnificent.
The last time I had this in 2019 I called it the best theme park quick service Chicken Parmesan in the whole wide world.
It was actually really, really good, and had a super good salad too for $13.49.
Just look at the Salad, man those were the days. A real good salad like that as a side at a quick service is a thing of the past.
And it was real chicken breast, no some pressed formed mystery meat.
The sauce was rich and the pasta was decent as well, super all around.
I dumped all the Parmesan on top becasuse I love Parmesan.
I used to have this at 11:30 am at Pinocchio's before the crowds filled the place.
Unfortunately like so many of the old really good quick service dishes they disappeared during the 2020 shutdown.
This is a version of this at Catalina Eddie's in Hollywood Studios and while I have had it and like it is a mere shadow of it's former glory.
Maybe if I wish really hard and snap my heels together it will come back just one more time!
