All aboard! 🚢✨ Embarkation Day on the Disney Treasure was pure magic!

Our morning kicked off bright and early at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, taking a quick stroll over to The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s Boardwalk for coffee.

Once Bell Services whisked our bags away—next stop, our stateroom!—we were good to go. ☕️🧳

The Disney Cruise Line bus picked us up at 10:00 AM, and by 11:00 AM we had arrived at Port Canaveral. Even with a bit of a queue for check-in and security, the energy was electric.

Stepping into the Grand Hall was a total pinch-me moment—after months of planning, we were finally standing on the Disney Treasure! 🧭✨

Embarkation day can definitely feel a bit chaotic, but having a plan made all the difference:
1️⃣ First stop: Triton Class Lounge to confirm our private table for dinner (success!).
2️⃣ Second stop: Marceline Market for lunch. 😋
3️⃣ Third stop: Stateroom check-in! Our inside cabin was a great fit for the week—a little cozy on storage space, but we made it work!

The afternoon was spent unpacking as our suitcases arrived one by one. Does anyone else overpack and bring way too much stuff, or is it just us? 🙈📦 (Also... can we please bring back the 2021 virtual muster drill? 😅)

Dinner tonight was at a Plaza de Coco, Becca had been counting down the days for this, though Ben was a little skeptical. But after one bite of the chorizo croquettes? Completely blown away. Amazing food, stellar service, and the perfect setup for a late-night stroll exploring the ship. 🍽️💫

Day 1 Recap

We woke up at the Beach Club, though Ben was up before the sun to squeeze in a 5k run around Crescent Lake 🏃‍♂️🌅

We kicked off the morning with breakfast at one of our absolute favorites, Trattoria al Forno! Becca had the legendary breakfast pizza, while Ben fueled up with the ham & cheese omelette (plus all the sides: bacon, sausage, and crispy potatoes) 🍕🍳

We spent the rest of the day relaxing and making the absolute most of Stormalong Bay, followed by a late lunch at Beaches & Cream 🍦✨ We wrapped up the day by heading over to Disney Springs to catch up with Claire! 💖

After getting back to the resort we had to pack some last minute things ready for our cruise as our bags were being picked up first thing in the morning

Travel Day Recap! ✈️🇺🇸

From the chaos of check-in straight into total relaxation: started our travel day right at the Clubrooms lounge with eggs benedict and pancakes.

Absolutely the best way to switch off before boarding (especially after seeing WHSmith charging a wild £7.49 for a meal deal—safe to say we stuck to plane food and that mid-flight Magnum ice cream instead! 🍦).

Terminal C welcomed us with brand new carpet, and thanks to the MPC app, we zipped through customs in 5 minutes! 45 minutes total from wheels down to grabbing all our bags, jumping straight into a Lyft XL, and hitting the road. 🚕💨

Within 30 minutes of leaving MCO, we were checked into Disney’s Beach Club Resort, ready to watch the fireworks right from our balcony through the trees. 🎆✨

Back home! ✈️🇬🇧 What an absolute dream of a trip!

From making core memories in Orlando to sailing away on the Disney Treasure, it was truly a holiday for the books.

Beyond grateful for all the magic, late nights, and incredible experiences we experienced. New resorts and didn’t even venture into a Theme Park 😱

And just like that, travel day is finally here! ✈️✨
Ben and Becca are packed, checked in at Heathrow, and officially ready to cross the Atlantic! ☀️

This trip is looking a little different for us—no theme parks this time around, but we are SO excited for the ultimate relaxed Disney getaway.

We’re heading off for some incredible resort stays and stepping aboard the Disney Cruise Line! 🛳️✨

Next stop: Orlando! See you on the other side. 🥂🌴
