Disney World Confirms 2027 New Land & Ride Openings, Including Two Rides Once Thought Delayed

Walt Disney World has several major projects underway across all four theme parks, including a roller coaster inside the Monsters, Inc. door factory and an entire land inspired by Disney Villains.

With so many large-scale additions in development, there has been plenty of uncertainty surrounding when some of these projects would actually open.

Disney has now provided more clarity by confirming its 2027 lineup of new attractions and expansions, including two rides that some fans had wondered might be pushed beyond 2027.

The updated timeline gives guests a much clearer look at what’s coming to Walt Disney World and when they can expect these major additions to arrive.

Disney vacations make it incredibly easy to spend money on merchandise. Between Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line, there’s always something new that catches my eye.

As an active Disney collector who visits the parks throughout the year, I regularly come home with multiple souvenirs and goodies that seemed like must-haves while I was there.

But once the vacation ends and I’m back home, some of those purchases don’t feel quite as exciting anymore. A few have left me wondering whether they were really worth the money in the first place.
