That free 5-minute massage sampler on a Disney Cruise? We actually took advantage of it. We did the sampler, liked it, and ended up booking a couples massage while our daughter enjoyed kids club. Honestly, not a bad way to spend some cruise time.

The sampler can also come with an offer to book a full treatment at a discounted rate. You may hear about better deals later in the cruise, especially on port days, so you have to decide whether you want to lock something in or wait it out.

And yes, there can be a sales pitch. You're allowed to say no thank you and enjoy your free five minutes.

The Universal resort with the best reviews might be the wrong resort for YOU. 👀

Because choosing your hotel isn’t really about finding the “best” one.

It’s about finding the one that makes your specific trip easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.

And sometimes that means paying more. Sometimes it means saving money. Sometimes it means choosing the resort with the better pool, the better room setup, or the easier transportation.

There’s no universal winner (ha, see what I did there). 🙃

If you’re sailing Disney Cruise Line Concierge, you can start working with Shoreside Concierge before your cruise to request things like Royal Gathering, Port Adventures, adult dining, spa, nursery reservations and more.

How far would you go for a Disney Cruise? ✈️🚢 Everyone is talking about the Disney Believe… But have you looked at the Disney Adventure? 👀

It sails from Singapore, has a completely different ship design, new dining and entertainment, some seriously cool stateroom views, AND 2027 sailings that include Langkawi, Malaysia.

Am I the only one who gets social anxiety in character lines and starts rehearsing what I’m going to say so I don’t sound like an idiot? At the Toothless meet and greet, I had no idea what to ask. Then I realized Hiccup, Astrid, or the Viking twins could rotate through, so apparently my brain decided I needed a separate conversation plan for each character.

Instead, we asked the Team Member at the entrance for ideas. She suggested, “What dragon suits you?”

Honestly, that was a much better plan. Apparently I’m Team Light Fury.

Build incredible food stops into your park day instead of treating meals like an afterthought.

Sometimes the food truly IS the main plan. 🍔

A client asked this week if he could transfer his already booked Universal Orlando trip to me as his travel advisor: Yes! And you don’t have to start over.

If you booked directly with Universal, there is a process for moving the booking to a travel advisor. Universal and I handle the rebooking, your existing funds can transfer to the new booking, and you will need to give permission over the phone.

There are a few requirements, including the price needing to remain the same (or even lower), but having already booked does not necessarily mean you’re stuck doing it all on your own.
