Brutally honest Contemporary Resort review — my full rundown.

Walking from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom takes FIVE minutes. It took me nine because I had to stop and dig through my bag for security, but honestly it's the fastest commute in all of Disney World. I always tell people this is the one resort where you can truly leave the monorail behind. What other resorts do you want to see me travel to and from next?

Okay, this one got me.

When I was little, I rode a horse on the carousel at Magic Kingdom — Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. Fast forward more than thirty years, and I'm standing in front of that same carousel… and that same horse is still there, still going round.

I made a little video about it because some Disney memories don't fade — they just wait for you to come back. "Some rides you never outgrow" has never felt more true.

🔥 HOT TAKE: Animal Kingdom Lodge is NOT worth it unless you book Savanna View. 👀🦒

I said what I said. 😂

Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the most immersive resorts at Walt Disney World, but you’re also pretty far from the parks. For me, having that incredible savanna right outside your room makes the resort feel SO much more worthwhile.

Being able to sit on your balcony and watch giraffes, zebras, and other animals roaming around? That’s the experience. 🦒✨
