The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury is seeking feedback from residents about traffic issues in the parish’s unincorporated areas.

They’re inviting locals to complete a survey aimed at reassessing the transportation network's effectiveness, reviewing street classifications, and evaluating right-of-way preservation for parish roads.

Click the link below to take the survey:

This survey is part of the Calcasieu Parish Master Transportation Thoroughfare Plan (MTTP), which lays out a long-term vision for improving transportation across the parish, including roads, freight, pedestrian options, and overall safety. The MTTP was first adopted in 2006 and last updated in 2011.

The survey opens on Monday, Oct. 21, and will remain open for responses until Friday, Nov. 11.

Looks like misinformation’s on the road again! 🚗💨

Contrary to recent claims, the Biden-Harris administration isn’t forcing anyone in Louisiana (or anywhere) into electric vehicles. No mandates here—just cleaner air, better savings, and more freedom to choose how you drive. 🚙💡

Let’s clear the air on EVs: they’re an option, not a requirement, and they could actually save us all money in the long run.

Let’s also normalize NOT treating the American people like they’re stupid in order to push some private interest agenda for personal gain. 🌎💰
