Go try it—absolutely delicious! 😋🍂✨

Have you been to Harvest Restaurant in Lehi? 🍽️ We just celebrated birthday there 🎂🎉, and everything was amazing!

We started with warm homemade bread and butter 🍞🧈, then enjoyed the Turkey Cobb Salad 🥗 and the Half and Half combo (Turkey Bacon sandwich 🥪 + house salad). Jenny's Canyon: A Beautiful Legacy 🏜️❤️✨

Just learned something special about Jenny's Canyon in Snow Canyon State Park. This stunning little slot canyon—less than a mile but absolutely gorgeous—is named after Jennifer Patchett, who lost her life in a fall from the cliffs in Snow Canyon in 1994. Since then, the canyon has carried her name as a living memorial. 💛

What strikes me most is how this place has become a celebration of natural beauty that thousands of people now experience every year. 🌄 It's become a place of wonder, adventure, and joy for families and hikers exploring Southern Utah's red rocks.

Sometimes the most meaningful tributes are the ones that bring light and beauty into the world. ☀️ Jenny's Canyon does exactly that—inviting people to explore, connect with nature, and make their own happy memories. 🧡

If you're in the St. George area, it's worth the short hike. The swooping canyon walls and red rock scenery are incredible! 😍

I've been doing an in depth study of Doctrine and Covenants section 89, and it's been life-changing! 📖✨

Over the past few months, I've made some more deliberate choices about nourishing my body as a sacred temple. 🙏 The result? So much more energy and incredible physical and spiritual blessings! 💪🌟

I found a 2012 note in my scriptures quoting Carolyn Allen: "The popular, over-processed, fat-laden, sugar-laden foods of our day may be considered among Satan's tools to destroy us – for they do destroy our bodies, and the habits centered around eating them tax our spirits." 📝

D&C 89:4 says: "In consequence of evils and designs which do and will exist in the hearts of conspiring men in the last days, I have warned you... by giving unto you this word of wisdom."

Could this refer to today's food industries? 🤔 It takes awareness to recognize these "evils and designs" and make conscious choices.

Allen's "10% principle": Treat meat, cheese, milk, and refined carbs like condiments - just 10% of your daily intake. 🥗🍎

Don't wait to gain the strength you need for life's battles! ⚔️ Every choice matters. Every meal is an opportunity. 🌱

The blessings of the Word of Wisdom are real. Most importantly, obedience helps us stay connected to heaven. ✨🙏

🎃 Have you ever been to Corn Belly's in Utah?! What an AMAZING fall adventure! 🍂
This was my FIRST time!!🧡 Here’s what we did:
🎯 Threw basketballs and guess what? This girl made 14 baskets in a ROW! 💪 (All those driveway games with my Jacob Barrus finally paid off! 😂)
⚾ Baseball throw - made a few!
🌽 Got completely BURIED in the corn box - my legs disappeared!
👻 The kids braved Spook Alley (they were so brave! 😱) barrus .beauty.llc
🌾 Conquered the hay bale AND corn mazes
🎆 Watched the most incredible fireworks at 8:30 PM
🍕 Ate ALL the carnival food!
🎃 So many gorgeous pumpkins everywhere!
Huge shoutout to for hooking us up with tickets! 🙌💕

Friends, I just learned THE most amazing trick from one of my clients and I HAD to share it with you! 💛🧡
You know how we all LOVE fall - the cozy sweaters 🧥, hot chocolate ☕, pumpkin everything 🎃, and those gorgeous pumpkins on our porches? But then they start rotting before Thanksgiving even arrives? 😩😭
GAME CHANGER ALERT: 🚨 Spray your pumpkins with clear gloss spray paint (like Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover)! 🎨✨
Here’s what you do: 👇
✨ Get your beautiful pumpkins 🎃
✨ Put on plastic gloves 🧤
✨ Set them on a box for easy cleanup 📦
✨ Spray the top AND bottom with a coat of clear sealant 💨
✨ Let them dry completely ⏰
✨ Display them proudly on your porch! 🏡🍁
That’s it! 🙌 Your pumpkins will last SO much longer - way past Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂
Sometimes the simplest tips make the biggest difference. 💫 This is one of those moments where I thought, “Why didn’t I know this before?!” 🤯💡

🍔 It’s Monday - who doesn’t need some comfort food? 🍟
A couple weeks ago I grabbed some great food with and we had to share! 😋
Great food and quick service, fun atmosphere! 🎉 The beer-battered fries are THE BEST, the burgers are amazing 🤤, and please, PLEASE don’t forget the fry sauce - it is one of the best things when you come to Utah! 🙌
Bring the family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 or just grab a table for two to sit and talk 💕. We even closed down the place! ⏰

General Conference weekend is hands down my favorite time of year—and this one absolutely delivered! 🙌✨

Picture this: comfy slippers 🥿, heater cranked up 🔥 (hello, sudden cold snap! ❄️), snacks within arm’s reach 🍿, yummy food prepared 🍲, and soul-filling messages streaming into my living room, surrounded by family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. My physical and spiritual needs were met. 🙏

But here’s the tender mercy that made it even more special: At the last minute, my daughter got two tickets to the Conference Center, and we gladly went! 🎟️ Being there in person was absolutely incredible—an experience I’ll treasure forever. 💕

I walked away with so many powerful takeaways that I’m excited to weave into my daily life as I strive to become a better disciple of Jesus Christ. 🕊️The love, inspiration, and counsel from our church leaders touched my heart in ways I’m still processing. 💖

Here’s what’s sticking with me—and what I’m committing to do with even more emphasis:

• Being a peacemaker in a chaotic world ☮️
• The power of small and simple things 🌱
• Listening to the Holy Ghost 🕊️
• The beautiful truths in the Family Proclamation 👪
• Daily repentance and truly knowing Christ 🙏✨

And the best part? We get to feast on these messages for the next six months—listening again, reading, pondering, and applying. 📖💭
