- Co-founded the band Night Ranger in the late 1970s
- Contributed to hits like "Sister Christian," "Sentimental Street," and "Don't Tell Me You Love Me"

*Damn Yankees*
- Formed the band Damn Yankees with Ted Nugent and Tommy Shaw in the late 1980s
- Released two albums, including the hit single "High Enough"

*Shaw Blades*
- Collaborated with Tommy Shaw on the acoustic duo project Shaw Blades
- Released the album "Hallucination" in 1995

*Other Projects*
- Joined the band Revolution Saints, a supergroup featuring Jack Blades, Doug Aldrich, and Deen Castronovo
- Collaborated with Tak Matsumoto on the project Tak Matsumoto Group

OK, Lake listeners, I have some good news for you today. Here is your latest update in the seemingly never-ending Lake transmitter lightning saga: Per our engineers, as of last evening around 5pm, the replacement part (with the CORRECT software installed by the manufacturer this time) that we were waiting for weeks for was installed in the Lake transmitter. What this means is that we should be back at FULL POWER (50,000 watts ERP) now. So, everyone in Perry, Madison, Mayo, Macclenny, Old Town, Chiefland, Starke, Lake Butler, etc. who were having trouble picking us up on the low power setting should be able to hear us loud and clear again...FINALLY!!! Thank you so much for bearing with us during this lightning-induced ordeal and for being so patient. Y'all rock!!!

OK, Lake listeners, time for an update on the lightning strike aftermath at our transmitter site. A couple of nights ago, one of our engineers took the station off the air to install the part for our stricken transmitter that we have been waiting for. Unfortunately, the manufacturer installed the incorrect software on that part, so it did not work. He had to put us back temporarily on the low power backup transmitter that we have been using since the original lightning strike a few weeks ago. So, we are still in a waiting pattern, waiting for the correctly loaded replacement part to arrive again. Sorry for the extra inconvenience, but thanks for sticking with us through this entire ordeal. It'll be worth it, but as our local hero Tom Petty sings...
