📸🌦️ New Technology Brings Live Lake Erie Conditions to North East
This afternoon, crews installed an advanced weather camera and weather-sensing equipment at the North East Community Marina as part of the ever-growing HAZCAMS network of weather cameras across the United States.
Crews from WXLogic were on scene to install the high-resolution camera along with weather instrumentation, providing another valuable source of live weather observations and real-time views of Lake Erie conditions.
The new site will give boaters, anglers, visitors, and the surrounding community a way to check conditions on the lake before heading out - from high-resolution imagery of the lake to current weather data collected right at the marina.
This is a huge asset for the community and another step toward expanding weather and lake-condition coverage along the Lake Erie shoreline. A big thank you to the North East Community Marina Authority for working with the WXLOGIC/HAZCAMS team to help make this installation a success!

If you own or have access to a property overlooking the lake, especially one with an existing tower or suitable mounting location, the HAZCAMS team is actively working to increase camera and weather-sensor coverage along the lakeshore.
