A Special Story – When an Ex Becomes Your Personal Driver

It all started like any ordinary day. Zaddy was gearing up for a mukbang at Las Vegas Gyros with Nico – his ex-girlfriend who had now become a close friend. But behind the laughter, the gyros, and the familiar clink of cutlery, there was a story that went deeper than food – a story about friendship, trust, and the unexpected ways relationships evolve after a breakup.

The Unexpected Call

It began with a simple call:
“Hey, can you drive me to the Strip? I’ve got some friends visiting.”

Zaddy didn’t hesitate. Nico didn’t want to drive because she planned to drink, and an Uber didn’t feel safe – valid reasons all. “I’d rather drive her myself than let her risk it,” he thought, a quiet display of care and maturity.

On the way, Nico casually started revealing details that made Zaddy pause. The “friend” she was meeting wasn’t exactly a friend – it was her “cousin’s ex baby daddy’s brother.” A family tangle more like a riddle than a casual hangout. Zaddy realized this wasn’t just a casual meetup as she had said.

The Realization

After dropping Nico off, Zaddy began connecting the dots.
“Wait… cousin’s ex baby daddy’s brother? Did I just drive my ex-girlfriend to a date?”

Instead of feeling hurt, he felt a mix of curiosity and amusement. “We’ve been single since our early twenties. We’re truly just friends now,” he reminded himself. That moment was proof: they had successfully shifted from lovers to genuine friends.

A Vegas Night to Remember

Later, when Zaddy picked Nico up, her excitement was contagious. She gushed about a luxurious hotel in Fremont – a two-level suite with a grand staircase, whirlpool bath, steam room, and a stunning view. Initially, Zaddy assumed it was part of an extravagant getaway, but Nico clarified it was for a family wedding.

The real surprise wasn’t the suite. It was the way Nico began singing “When I’m with You” in the car – a song she deliberately chose. The joy in her voice, the rhythm in her movements, it all revealed just how special her night had been.

“She was singing like she had the time of her life,” Zaddy recalled. Nico admitted, “It just feels… different when it’s with someone else.”

The Difference in Friendship

That line sparked a deeper reflection on their dynamic. Nico explained that while hanging out with Zaddy was always fun, it was different from going out with someone new. History creates a distinct vibe – not negative, just unique. With someone new, she could be fully herself, unshaped by past memories.

Zaddy wasn’t hurt. Instead, he asked:
“So, would you do the same for me? If I said, ‘Hey, I don’t want to drink and drive, could you drop me off?’”

“Of course,” Nico replied without hesitation. “Why wouldn’t I?”

The Lesson in Mature Relationships

The story of Zaddy and Nico shows that exes can become real friends. Not clinging exes, not “maybe someday” lovers – but a friendship rooted in respect, care, and understanding.

“Some people say we should get back together,” Zaddy shared, “but no. We’re just friends. It might look like flirting to outsiders, but that’s just comfort, trust, and history in motion.”

They’ve found balance – close enough to care, distant enough to avoid complications. Comfortable enough to laugh, mature enough to respect each other’s choices.

During the mukbang, between bites of gyros and tzatziki, Zaddy’s story went beyond YouTube content. It normalized a truth often overlooked: breakups don’t always end in drama. Respect, care, and genuine friendship can thrive long after love changes form.

“The grind never stops,” Zaddy ended, but perhaps the real takeaway is this: mature relationships never stop evolving.

Blove Shared: Today, I’m excited to share a recipe for a hearty beef and vegetable soup that’s perfect for cold winter days. My wife and I have spent time perfecting this dish, and it’s one of those comforting meals that warms you from the inside out.

The process began outdoors, in the snow and freezing air, where I decided to grill a chuck roast. The meat was marinated with a thoughtful blend of seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, Weber steak seasoning, and a touch of brown sugar to bring out a subtle sweetness. Grilling in such cold weather was challenging, but the smoky aroma and careful attention to doneness made it worthwhile. The goal was a medium level, so the beef would be tender and easy to shred later.

While I tended to the grill, my wife prepared the soup base on the stove. She started by sautéing onions and bell peppers in a bit of butter, filling the kitchen with a warm, inviting scent. She layered in ingredients that would build deep, complex flavors:

Low-sodium beef broth

Celery

Garlic

Baby bella mushrooms

Frozen mixed vegetables

Cream of mushroom soup

Cream of celery soup

French onion soup

Milk

To give the soup a subtle kick, she incorporated seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and other spices. Every element was chosen to complement the rich, savory notes of the beef.

Once the chuck roast was perfectly grilled, I chopped and shredded it into tender pieces that practically melted in your mouth. The shredded beef, along with the flavorful juices from grilling, was added to the simmering soup pot.

We finished cooking the soup in a pressure cooker, letting it boil gently so all the ingredients could harmonize into a full-bodied, satisfying broth. My wife mentioned that we’d enjoy this soup for several days, and we even planned to freeze a portion to savor later.

Here’s a tip: the soup actually improves after being frozen. The flavors deepen and meld together, creating an even richer taste experience when reheated.

This beef and vegetable soup isn’t just a meal—it’s warmth in a bowl, a labor of love, and a recipe we hope you’ll cherish as much as we do.

Blove Shared : Today was one of those days that felt unforgettable from the very beginning. We gathered at iFLY to celebrate Darius’ birthday, and instead of a traditional party, we chose something bold, fun, and completely out of the ordinary—indoor skydiving.

For Darius, this was a first-time experience, and you could see both excitement and nerves written all over his face. I had already tried it once before in Vegas, so I knew the thrill that was waiting for him. This time around, we didn’t just settle for a short ride—we committed to five flights, ending with a breathtaking 20-foot-high flight that made the entire adventure even more electrifying. Imagine being lifted into the air, floating weightless, and realizing that for a few moments, you’re literally flying—it’s pure joy you can’t quite capture in words.

Looking over at Darius sitting on the bench, gearing up with his suit and helmet, I couldn’t help but smile. Today wasn’t just about the activity—it was about making him feel celebrated, creating memories that last far beyond the flight tunnel. Surrounded by our close-knit group of friends, every laugh, every cheer, and every “you got this!” added to the magic of the day.

And the celebration didn’t stop there. After the adrenaline rush, we slowed things down with a warm dinner and then turned up the energy again with a friendly game of Moneyball. The balance of thrill, connection, and laughter is what made this birthday one that none of us will forget.

Thank you for joining us on this journey and sharing in Darius’ big day. Moments like these remind us that life is meant to be lived fully—celebrated boldly, and cherished deeply. If you’ve ever thought about trying something new and a little daring, maybe this is your sign.

Blove Shared: Marriage Wisdom – Never Go to Bed Angry

Let me tell you something I’ve truly learned in life: never go to sleep angry. Never. Me and Nate? We don’t go to bed angry—ever.

I’ll be honest—there was one time in my 20s when I did. You know how we all do some foolish things in our 20s? Well, I went to bed mad, telling him, “I’m not talking to you. I’m done.” The next morning, I woke up with a flu like no other. I was so sick I could barely move, sitting on my couch thinking, never again. That day, I made a vow: never go to bed on anger. And I haven’t since.

In marriage, it’s essential to know how to talk things out. Me and Nate, we handle conflicts calmly. We don’t stay upset at each other. Sometimes we’re annoyed for two minutes—and then we’re laughing, talking, and it’s as if nothing ever happened. That kind of harmony doesn’t come overnight. You have to work for it. At first, when you’re newly married, it’s chaotic—you’re learning how to coexist. Marriage isn’t easy. It’s work. It’s not for the faint-hearted.

Even if you’re married to your soulmate, troubles will come. I’m married to my soulmate, and even then, we’ve faced challenges. Paul said it in the Bible: marriage comes with its struggles. He knew what he was talking about. But here’s the thing—being married to your soulmate is still a blessing. You can have a happy marriage if you build it on love, respect, and friendship. I’ve always said my marriage is happy because I’m married to my best friend. That’s key. Your spouse should be your confidant, someone you can feel safe with beyond your relationship with God.

Trust is essential. What you share with your spouse should stay between the two of you. Don’t let gossip or careless words outside the marriage destroy that bond. And don’t let family dictate your decisions. Me and Nate made a big move early in our marriage—we relocated to a city where we knew nobody. It forced us to rely on each other, to bond, and to grow together. No outside distractions, no constant eyes watching. We started fresh, and it strengthened our foundation.

We made family time sacred. Family nights, picnics, quality moments together—they all became our priority. That’s how you build a strong, enduring marriage: spend time together, keep your business private, and above all—never go to bed angry. Trust me, I learned that lesson the hard way, and that fever was no joke!

Blove Shared: Today, we’re diving into something truly special—lobster tails served with my signature sauce!

I managed to snag some enormous lobster tails today—each one impressively large and packed with meat. Yes, they were a bit of an investment at around $50 each, but trust me, the flavor and size make every penny worthwhile. Today, I’m experimenting with a new method: cooking them in the Instant Pot. Never tried it this way before, but that’s the fun of cooking—trying something new!

Ingredients:

Lobster tails

Purple and red potatoes

Corn

Chicken broth

Seasonings: Creole, Old Bay, black pepper, paprika, chili powder

Step 1: Prepping the Broth
Start by adding chicken broth and a little water to the Instant Pot. Season generously with Creole seasoning—my personal secret blend that elevates every dish. This broth will infuse the lobster, potatoes, and corn with incredible flavor.

Step 2: Crafting the Sauce
Here’s where the magic happens—the sauce! Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant. Then add four sticks of rich, creamy butter—because when it comes to flavor, we don’t hold back.

Next, add the seasonings: black pepper, paprika, and chili powder. I prefer bold, vibrant flavors, but feel free to adjust according to your taste. For a subtle hint of sweetness, I blend brown and white sugar just enough to balance the spices without overpowering the natural flavors.

Step 3: Cooking the Lobster
Place the lobster tails in the Instant Pot and cook for 10–11 minutes. Once cooked, immediately transfer them to an ice bath to halt the cooking process. Use the same broth to cook the potatoes and corn, allowing them to absorb all the savory, spicy, buttery goodness.

Step 4: Bringing It All Together
This is the rewarding part—remove the lobster from its shell, combine it with the potatoes and corn, and generously drizzle the buttery, spicy sauce over everything. And just like that, a show-stopping meal is ready to enjoy.

Tips:

Adjust seasonings to your preference. Be mindful of salt, and don’t hesitate to explore flavors that excite your palate.

If you don’t have an Instant Pot, you can achieve excellent results by boiling or steaming the lobster traditionally.

That’s today’s culinary adventure! I can’t wait to hear how your dish turns out. Love you all and happy cooking!

Blove Shared: Today, I want to share a deeply personal and meaningful story about my journey of embracing and loving my son, Darius.

When Darius was younger, we began to notice certain differences in him. In truth, my husband and I recognized his sexual orientation even before he fully understood it himself. Yet, we chose to remain patient and silent, waiting for the moment he felt ready to share his truth.

I remember vividly the day we decided to talk to him. It happened after I accidentally came across a photo of Darius. My husband and I took a moment to prepare ourselves emotionally, understanding the importance of honesty, empathy, and support. When we asked Darius, he was visibly anxious and tears streamed down his face. But in that moment, my husband held him close and said, “Son, it’s okay. We love you because you are our son.” That simple, unwavering affirmation of love changed everything.

As a Christian family, our faith guides us, yet it has never overshadowed the unconditional love we hold for our children. It breaks my heart to see so many young people rejected by families who claim to follow religious teachings. Too often, children face homelessness, despair, or even take their own lives simply because they are not accepted for who they truly are.

To all parents, I say this: love your children without condition. Let no religious belief, societal expectation, or prejudice stand in the way of that love. Every child deserves the freedom to be loved and accepted exactly as they are.

Darius has taught us invaluable lessons. He has challenged our assumptions, encouraged us to listen more deeply, and inspired greater empathy within our hearts. Even at 45, I continue learning from him every single day.

I am profoundly proud of Darius—for the courage he shows in living authentically and for his unwavering dedication to advocating for marginalized communities. His kindness, his commitment to justice, and his consideration for others define him far more than his sexual orientation ever could.

Our family’s story is a testament to the transformative power of love. It proves that love can transcend barriers, prejudices, and rigid beliefs. My hope is that our journey encourages other parents to embrace their children fully, to see them with open hearts, and to never let anything come between love and family.

Blove Shared: I want to share my personal skincare secret that has truly transformed my skin. I’ve been using black seed oil consistently, and the results have been remarkable. My skin, which used to be dry and uneven, now feels nourished and smooth.

I combine black seed oil with sea moss and Ferrol iron supplements, taking them twice a day—morning and evening. My routine is simple: one tablespoon of pure black seed oil and two tablespoons of sea moss blended with apple sauce. This combination has made a noticeable difference, helping to even out my skin tone and reduce the appearance of darker areas caused by past scratching or irritation.

What I love most is that this approach is natural, holistic, and sustainable. It’s more than just skincare—it’s about supporting your body from within, which in turn reflects on the outside. For anyone struggling with dryness, uneven tone, or stubborn discoloration, this might be worth trying.

Blove Shared: I decided to prepare the chicken thighs by generously coating them with a double layer of spicy sauce, finishing with Open Pit barbecue sauce—a flavor I always associate with the heart of Chicago. Before I started cooking, I took a quiet moment to pray and thank God for this meal.

The moment I took my first bite, the heat hit me immediately. The spiciness was intense—my nose ran, my head felt light, and I had to call my husband to come capture the reaction on TikTok. It was an experience too fiery not to share.

When he tried a piece, he confirmed the truth: the heat was overwhelming, but somehow, the flavor still shone through. Despite the intense spiciness, the chicken was unbelievably delicious. Each bite was a bold challenge to my tolerance for heat, yet the taste kept pulling me back.

What surprised me most was what happened after I stopped eating. The spiciness seemed to intensify, a lingering burn that made me reach for water again and again. Even with the heat, I couldn’t deny the thrill and satisfaction of a perfectly crafted, fiery meal.

If you want, I can also rewrite it into an even more vivid, storytelling version that draws the reader into the sensory experience of this spicy chicken adventure. Do you want me to do that?

Blove Shared: Working With My Husband

I want to share something personal today—what it’s really like working alongside my husband. I know a lot of couples struggle with this, and honestly, it’s not always easy. My husband and I have been partners in life and work for years—starting from our days at Motorola, then running a childcare center with 200 kids and 38 employees, and now collaborating on YouTube. You might think we have it all figured out, but let me be honest—it took a lot of trial, error, and learning.

The Early Days – Facing the Real Struggle

When we first started working together, it was a whirlwind. Back when I ran the childcare center, my husband had a separate job, yet he would step in to help me with payroll, paychecks, and keeping the books balanced. Later, we both worked at Motorola, then together at the center, and now on YouTube.

Here’s the truth: seeing someone all day, every day, tests your patience and your love. You can’t just be spouses—you have to become each other’s best friend. There are moments when you need to look at that person and think, “I love this person. I’m fully in this, no matter what.” That bond becomes the foundation for surviving the stress of working together.

The Lessons We Learned

1. Separating Work from Family
We’ve faced rough seasons—married, working, going to church, taking classes, running a business, and trying to do too much at once. It’s easy to lose sight of “us” when life is that full. That’s why we made a firm promise: to separate work from home. We don’t talk about business during weekends—from Friday to Sunday, work stays out. It’s non-negotiable.

2. Maturity is Essential
Working with your spouse can stir tension, and you have to grow up quickly. My husband and I had heated arguments over work before we truly learned to handle conflicts with maturity. Patience, empathy, and emotional control are essential if you want your marriage—and your business—to survive.

3. Building Independence by Moving Away
I truly believe that couples who move away from their hometowns and start fresh together often build stronger bonds. The Bible says, “A man shall leave his family and cling to his wife.” It’s a principle we experienced firsthand. When we relocated, it was just us—no family, no old friends pulling us in different directions. Suddenly, our relationship became the center of our world.

That isolation—though challenging—strengthens your partnership. Your decisions, your fun, your life is together. Lunch? With your spouse. A show? With your spouse. Date night? With your spouse. Without distractions, you invest fully in each other. And yes, challenges still arise—but they bind you closer, making your marriage stronger than ever.

Final Advice

Working with your spouse is demanding, no doubt. But if you navigate it wisely, it becomes one of the most rewarding experiences. You learn to communicate, compromise, and create a life together in a way that few couples ever do.

Balance is everything. Don’t let work consume your marriage—or yourself. Stay committed to the principles that protect your relationship, prioritize your love, and you’ll find that working together can actually make your bond unbreakable.

It’s not easy, but with dedication, love, and respect, it’s absolutely possible.

Blove Shared: Losing My Little Sister Over Something So Meaningless

Hey everyone, this is BLovesLife. Today, I need to share a story that has shaken my family to the core. It’s painful to write, but it’s important that Jada’s story is heard.

The Phone Call That Changed Everything
A few weeks ago, around 3 or 4 in the morning, my phone rang. It was my sister Shannon. At first, I thought she had dialed the wrong number, but the urgency in her voice told me something was terribly wrong.

Her voice trembled as she told me the news I never expected: our baby sister Jada was gone. She was only 27, a mother to three beautiful children, and her life was cut short — shot in the heart over an argument about… hair.

Jada — My Baby Sister
Jada was my half-sister on our dad’s side. Even though we didn’t grow up in the same home, our bond was strong. She had three children — a 9-month-old, a 7-year-old, and a 4-year-old.

She ran a small hair salon called “Jazzy Extensions,” named in honor of another sister we lost to g*un violence when she was just 16. My heart aches knowing that Jada’s mom had to bury another daughter, twice.

What Happened That Night
From what we’ve learned, a customer was unhappy with a hair service. Jada offered to refund the money and said, “Don’t worry, I got you.” But the customer wanted immediate satisfaction.

Later that night, Jada went out with her fiancé, just trying to unwind after long days caring for her children and running her business. They ended up at a friend’s house — and unexpectedly, the same customer was there.

A disagreement escalated into a physical altercation. Tragically, the other person pulled out a g*un and fired two shots — striking Jada in the heart. Just like that, her life was taken at 27, over something that could have been solved with words.

Holding Onto the Good Memories
One small comfort is that I spoke with Jada just a few months before she passed. We discussed growing her business, expanding on Instagram and YouTube. She was so passionate about her future and her brand.

I was also blessed to witness her graduation, to see the light and joy she brought into the world in her short life.

Gratitude Amidst Heartbreak
I want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out, prayed for our family, and offered support during this unimaginable time. Your kindness has meant more than words can express.

2020 has been a year of loss for so many, and our story is just one among countless others. But I know Jada would want us to keep going, to continue loving, and to cherish the time we still have together.

A Lesson We Can’t Ignore
This tragedy has reminded me how fragile and unpredictable life truly is. I’ve committed to spending more time with my family and staying close to my siblings.

When I think of Jada, I remember her radiant smile, her generous heart, and the love she carried for her children. She deserved more time. She deserved to watch her babies grow.

Please, hold your loved ones close. Tomorrow is never promised. And remember this: no disagreement is ever worth ending a life in v*iolence.

Rest in peace, Jada Mills. You will always be remembered.

Blove Shared: Our recent adventure took us on a road trip to Dublin, Ohio—about an hour and a half drive—to visit a Ferrari dealership, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a lineup of jaw-dropping convertibles. One car, in particular, stole the show: a vibrant green Ferrari with striking red leather seats. The design was breathtaking, and my husband was equally captivated.

While all the models were sleek two-seater convertibles, I have to admit, convertibles aren’t really my favorite. The wind has a way of turning my hair into a wild mess—anyone else relate?

Ferrari, however, has some very particular rules for owning their limited editions. To order a custom 812 GTS, you must already be a Ferrari owner. My husband spent time customizing his ideal model, and we’ve secured a deposit. Now comes the suspenseful part: waiting to see if our order gets approved. And if you think waiting for a typical car is long, Ferrari takes patience to a whole new level—approximately a year and a half! Rolls-Royce, on the other hand, can stretch the wait to a staggering 67 months for a fully customized vehicle. Insane, right?

We even had the thrill of a test drive. The Ferrari sits incredibly low, engineered for speed and agility—it’s definitely more suited for younger drivers. I stayed on the sidelines, chatting with the staff while my husband immersed himself in conversation, as he loves to do.

In case our Ferrari order doesn’t go through, we also explored Rolls-Royce options. Personally, I prefer my Continental. Its size feels more manageable to me, and I’m not one for maneuvering enormous vehicles.

This trip was a beautiful blend of luxury, excitement, and a little patience-testing—but one I’ll remember for a long time.

09/23/2025

Blove Shared: Today, I want to take a moment to share my journey on YouTube and some valuable lessons I’ve learned about building a sustainable income on the platform.

Let’s start with a milestone I’m incredibly proud of: my highest-earning month reached $173,000. And that’s just from YouTube itself — it doesn’t even include brand deals, ads, or the revenue from my sauce line. I’ve been fortunate to turn my passion into a solid, thriving income stream.

But make no mistake — the path hasn’t always been smooth. After the pandemic, revenue patterns changed for many creators, myself included. Despite those shifts, I’ve continued to earn well, and it’s all thanks to strategic planning and persistence.

For anyone looking to pursue a career as a YouTuber, here are some essential tips I’ve learned along the way:

1. Be intentional with your earnings:

Invest in other business opportunities.

Purchase your own home.

Explore investments in the stock market.

Secure insurance to protect your family.

2. Manage your finances wisely:

Stay on top of taxes and pay them on time.

Save for the future consistently.

Develop passive income streams.

Plan for long-term financial stability, including retirement.

3. Build your YouTube presence strategically:

Be persistent — growth takes time.

Cultivate your unique personality; authenticity resonates more than perfection.

Strengthen your resilience to negative comments.

Avoid blocking followers, as engagement matters.

Once you reach 100,000 subscribers, consider hiring a professional YouTube manager to help scale your channel.

Above all, remember this: Be yourself. Never compromise your identity to please others. Focus on producing quality content, growing your personal brand, and sharing your voice.

I feel incredibly grateful to be living my passion in my 40s. If I can make this work at this stage of life, I promise, you can too.
