Hello everybody I’m Harold Skeletor, relaxing in my garden reading my favorite book of monsters written by my good friend Professor Tiberius Q. Edelgeezer. I just love this time of year hanging out with the dead plants and weeds, while boning up on my monsters! The ole professor really did a great job researching and writing a field guide of monsters, with a monster for every letter in the alphabet! He was really lucky in getting that great human artist and illustrator, Kate Buss, to draw and paint a picture of each monster. She provides great detail in the style of other famous artists! The pictures really capture the essence of each monster.

Some of my favorite monsters are;

The Carnivorous Kanoosh – Boy, you got be careful with this monster, one minute you are taking a nap on this comfy coach and the next you are being swallowed up!

Professor Edelgeezer – The ole professor, even includes himself in his own book. Kate Buss did a great job painting his portrait, relaxing at home with a picture of his mom looking over him.

ItsyMitsy – A picture of a giant spider playing an accordion just using tiny ink dots, definitely one of a kind.

Kevin – This picture of my nephew is just great! Kate really captures how creepy my nephew is.

Scuttleblub – I thought I stepped into a Grandma Moses picture with the Scuttleblub.

Xraysaurus – No telling what an Xraysaurus likes to eat, unless you look at his stomach. Who knew he liked skateboards!

Hello Everyone! Ice Cream Fine Storybooks would like to apologize to everyone for not posting for the last 8 months. Shortly after our last post Kate Buss (The author & Illustrator of our books) gave birth to her second daughter Scarlett and with her first daughter Bronwyn just being 18 months old things have been a little crazy these past few months. Despite all the upheaval in family life, Ice Cream Fine Storybooks did manage to publish our fifth book created by Kate. This book is the second of what we hope will become a series of books about ‘The Horners’ a family of everyday unicorns living in an old barn on the edge of town.

Our new book is titled: ‘The Horners, Big Brother’s Birthday Surprise’. It is about big brother’s birthday party and getting a birthday present he is not expecting.

Big Brother Horner is going to have a birthday party! However, he has not been too nice to his sister lately. Sister would love to see her favorite ice skater in her ice show 'The Cow Princess on Ice'. Happy New Year to Everyone! Ice Cream Fine Storybooks would like to thank all the people who purchased one or more of our books this past Holiday Season. We hope you and your loved ones are enjoying reading our books as much as we enjoyed creating and publishing them for you.

We at Ice Cream Fine Storybooks are very excited about the new year and all the projects we are working on this year.

The first item on our list is, we will be publishing this spring our fifth book and the second book in our series about the Horner’s the everyday family of unicorns. This upcoming book is tentatively titled ‘The Horner’s, Brother’s Birthday Surprise’. Without giving too much away big brother Horner gets a surprise present on his birthday that he wasn’t expecting and gets a lesson in dealing with disappointment.

Next, we will be working on and providing new sales channels, so our books are available to potential customers besides Amazon and through our web site. In addition, we will be working on providing ways for you to save money on book purchases so your hard-earned dollars will go farther purchasing our books.
We also have a sixth book we hope we will be able to publish much later this year. This will be our first book having a different author than Kate Buss, but still have her beautiful illustrations. If this book does get published it will not be until the late summer or fall. Either way we will keep you to date on our progress on getting this book published.

Finally, the biggest event for Ice Cream Fine Storybooks this year will be early this spring when Kate’s second child is born. This will be an exciting addition to Kate’s family, and we are all looking forward to welcoming a new child into the world.
