I see how quick icons can be Icons one day then just another laugh for you to catch on your news feed. I'm reserving judgement until there's actual evidence. For a guy to have moved as smart as can be for the last 30 years of his career then for ppl to just believe anything is 👎🏿. I see a lot of critiques of Kendricks album. One thing I will say from the time of me being a kid until now is that out of every region that makes Hip-Hop music West Coast rap has ALWAYS been kind of an acquired taste. The flow, beats, style of dressing to the dance moves aren't for everyone. It's always been a either you really get it or you don't type of thing. With that being said I think the music is cool on this record, the thing that gets me the most is I like EVERYTHING this kid stands for as a Black American, the majority of these kids don't stand for s #!+ and ain't feeding the youth much but poison to go tear and shoot s**t up. I respect Kendrick.

I had one of dopest experiences in the studio with Clark Kent. That man played beats for a good 2 hours straight and I went crazy on everything. The man told me he isn't easily impressed and gave me maximum respect that night. Talk about a confidence builder for a young artist at the time.R.I.P Clark Kent
