Happy Friday guys! I’m running on coffee and CELEBRATING because it’s the LAST day of class for me and graduation is in NINE DAYS 🎓🙌🏽 If you’re a college student - YOU GOT THIS! Sending lots of love your way 🧋🖤

If you KUW my stories, then you know I’ve been drowning in finals week work and was even unsure if I’d walk for my bachelors because I felt too old (at 25 🤦🏼‍♀️). BUT I’ve decided to do the dang thing because I’ve waited 8 years for this moment... I NEED the closure, and I always preach that success has no time limit... because it doesn’t 👏🏽

“The Earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the Earth.” 🍃 How lucky are we to live in such a place that nurtures our bodies + minds AND is full of endless wonders to be seen? ⛵️🪵🏞 All the more reason to educate ourselves on how we can do our part in protecting the planet. You don’t have to travel far to seek adventure and make an impact on the environment... it’s starts right in our own backyards! 🏡

WAYS TO HELP:
🚲 bike & walk more, drive less!
♻️ reduce, reuse, and recycle: ditch plastic/paper and switch to reusable products
💧 conserve water: shorten shower times and shower together 🤪
📚 Educate yourself + others on our natural resources

TOUR OF MY TOWN // 📍Jim Thorpe
ICYMI, yesterday I spent the day being a tourist down on Broadway to give you guys a tour of everything has to offer (it reminds me of Diagon Alley ⚡️🪄🧱).

We’re a historical town tucked away in the Pocono Mountains of PA and surrounded by the most gorgeous lakes and scenic spots. I swear JT is one of the prettiest tiny towns you’ll ever accidentally stumble upon 🌲 From white water rafting, a ton of mom & pop shops, the most unique AirBnB’s, and biking/hiking on the endless amount of trails - you’ll never get bored here 🚴🏼‍♀️🚣🏼‍♀️🧗🏼‍♀️ We also have tons of great places to eat + drink 🍻🍣🥗🍝

Let’s reminisce together! What color was your PROM dress?! Mine mimicked this beautiful red wedding guest gown from and I’m totally thinking back to the good ole’ days of high school when my only problem was how high I was going to wear my “snooki poof” that day 😂 Ah.... now all of us are grown and getting married! What are some now-outdated trends that were super cool during your school days? 💭

I didn’t realize how bad we all were itching to get out and hike again until this last week. 🥾 We’ve been so lucky to already have a warmer than usual spring season here in the NEPA and are taking fullll advantage of it 🌲🪵🍃 Sharing some of our favorite adventure spots in the Jim Thorpe area + Pocono Mountains:

• Glen Onoko Falls - a MUST hike! Wear GOOD shoes and follow the blue tree trail marks for an easier hike up. 🌄
• Mt. Pisgah - super rocky but the mountain landscape view is worth it! ⛰
• Boulder Field - check out a natural occurrence from 15,000 years ago after the warming of the last ice age. 🪨
• Shades of Death Trail (Hickory Run State Park) - a tight squeeze but you really can’t become more one with nature than right here. The forestry and water streams/falls are breathtaking. 🌳
• The Lehigh Gorge Trail - follow the Lehigh River and bring your bikes! This 20+ mile trail starts in White Haven and brings you to Jim Thorpe. 🚵🏼
• Bushkill Falls - this is one we haven’t hiked yet but it’s top rated in the state! There’s a series of 8 waterfalls and one cascades over 100feet! 🗺
• Hawk Falls - this is an easier trail but becomes pretty busy in the warmer months! The falls view are great! 🏕
• 100 Mile View - this is where we got our engagement pictures done and I cannot stress enough how beautiful the endless view is 🏞
