After all our 2025 adventures, lately Shelby hasn’t been feeling well, so I took her to Dr. McGuire, her veterinarian, and she was diagnosed with Ehrlichiosis, a tick-borne disease. She’s on Doxycycline twice daily for 28 days and dislikes taking pills. Her energy is improving, and eye and joint pain have eased. I wanted to share this update since I haven’t posted much while Shelby recovers and also give a big shout out to Dr. McGuire and his team for the kindness and taking care of Shelby.
