🇺🇸 Happy President’s Day from Murphy Broadcasting! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the leaders who have shaped our nation and the history that continues to inspire us every day.

Here are a few fun President’s Day facts to share:
⭐ President’s Day is officially called Washington’s Birthday and honors George Washington, born February 22, 1732.
⭐ Abraham Lincoln was born February 12, which is why the holiday often celebrates both presidents.
⭐ George Washington never lived in the White House — it wasn’t completed until after his presidency!
⭐ Abraham Lincoln is the only president to hold a patent. He invented a device to lift boats over shoals.
⭐ There have been 46 presidencies but only 45 different men have served as president (thanks to non-consecutive terms!).

The Winterfest Street Festival continues today until 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
