The Chiefs added two tryout players to their offseason roster after their recent minicamp. They signed center Joey Lombard and tight end Geor'Quarius Spivey. Lombard was a standout at the FCS level for South Dakota, starting 48 games and earning second-team All-American honors in 2024. Spivey last played in the UFL for the Houston Roughnecks. Previously, he was with the Chiefs during the 2024 preseason, where he made one catch but did not make the final roster. Spivey spent his college years at Mississippi State and TCU. In his last season with the Horned Frogs, he played 15 games, caught 11 passes for 136 yards, and scored a touchdown. To create space on the roster, the team released tight end Kevin Foelsch and offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum.
