UP AND RUNNING AND READY TO ROLL.

They say "nobody knows what happens when we die."
But I disagree.

Because this week I had the privilege of sitting down with Jem and Red from Mort Mic.
A podcast dedicated to casual discussions on death and dying.

Jem, forensic and autopsy specialist and Red, a mortician, know exactly what happens after you die. They see it every day. And boy howdy, do they have some stories to tell!

So sit back, put your feet up, and pull that tag off your toe.
We're about to get all death positive up in here.

SCIENTISTS SUGGEST THE SOUL DOES NOT DIE BUT RETURNS TO THE UNIVERSE

While everyone has their own views and thoughts on what happens when we leave this world and our bodies die, most people cannot agree on what that is. Some believe we are sent to a different place or at least our soul is and well there are even people who believe nothing happens at all.

At the end of the day, there is no set way to know because no one who has passed on can come back and tell us what happened, sure there are people who have what we call ‘near-death experiences’ but even those seem quite controversial in how things play out. All of this having been said, the answers to life after death in itself could be something hidden within quantum mechanics.

According to The Express, research that was going around back in 2018 really dove into this topic and suggested that at least on a quantum level, there may be more once our physical bodies have been lost. This basically going over how the soul itself may on some level live on. I know, this might be confusing, but please stick with me.

Basically, there are some researchers who believe that ‘quantum mechanics allows consciousness to live on following the body’s eventual demise.’ Consciousness is something even now we do not know much about and are constantly working to better understand and so, there are tons of questions that need answers in all of this.

UP AND RUNNING!!!
Available wherever you get your podcast fix.

This week I had the privilege of speaking with author, speaker, and teacher, Lynn K. Russell.
In addition to that already impressive list of credentials, Lynn is both an active spiritual practitioner, as well as a highly accomplished researcher.
In fact, her book THE WONDER OF YOU: What the Near-Death Experience Tells You About Yourself now in it's second edition, is the culmination of over 2500 documented and throughly researched cases of near death experiences.
Lynn's sincere and deliberate approach, combined with her own personal experiences, gives her a unique advantage in dealing with a topic most people willfully turn a blind eye to.

The question isn't "What happens when we die?"
It's "What happens to our consciousness when our physical bodies stop functioning?"

Find out in this week's episode.
And you can learn more about Lynn on her website:
https://lynnkrussell.com/
And THE WONDER OF YOU: What the Near-Death Experience Tells You About Yourself is available right now on Amazon.

Since we’re doing the 31 Days of Death, let’s get all Death Positive up in here.

It’s important to be able to talk about death and understand the idea of Death Positivity.
This isn’t a morbid concept nor is it a macabre fascination. Anyone whose livelihood is centered on the death trade, Funeral Directors, Morticians, Forensic Pathologists, will tell you a healthy relationship with death is an integral component to a complete and insightful life.
Fearing death will not delay it.
And dreading its eventual arrival will only cause unnecessary suffering.
But acknowledging its existence and yes, taking on faith what follows, is an incredibly liberating point of view.

Look, no one is riding through town ringing a bell yelling ‘Death is Coming….Death is Coming!!’
No one has to. Because we all the know the specter js ever present.
Its not to be feared. It’s a foreshadowing. A reminder.
The light is green. So go!
Enjoy! Live!
But don’t be afraid of the change. Because that’s all it is.
An unburdening if limitations.

Do I know this for a fact?
No, of course not.
Do I believe it to be true.
You bet your ass.

Bronnie Ware, an Australian nurse who spent several years caring for patients during the last 12 weeks of their lives, routinely asked her patients about “any regrets they had or anything they would do differently.”

She spoke of the phenomenal clarity of vision that people would gain at the end of their lives and the common themes that surfaced again and again during these conversations.

She wrote.
“For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives.

People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality. I learnt never to underestimate someone’s capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected, denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though, every one of them.

When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again.

Here are the most common five:

UP AND RUNNING!!

Hosting a podcast like this one gives me an opportunity to speak one-on-one with some truly amazing people.
Deborah Hanlon is one of those people.

Despite what your personal opinions might be of mediums and mediumship, there is simply no denying Deborah’s extraordinary insight as well as her unique perspective on the collective consciousness. She’s not an “I See Dead People” performer. But more of an “I Understand the Complete Picture” philosopher.
Both teacher and student. Professor and pupil. Deborah knows how ridiculous we all are. But also sees the potential we all have for collective awareness and super duper cosmic awesomeness. She is a force of nature and a pleasure to talk to.

I consider it a privilege to have her as my guest.

Dead...Dying....Death.
Muerte.
Morta.
Mort.
Mortinta.
We're talking about the great beyond, Abraham's bosom.
Departed, no longer with us, ceases to be.
You know...the final slumber. The eternal rest. The big dirt nap.
I'm dedicating the entire month of March to the topic of DEATH.
31 Days of discussion DEADicated to the deceased.
Not in a ghoulish or morose way, but an open and honest ( and hopefully entertaining ) anything goes conversation. Look, we're all headed there. Ain't no way around it. So let's explore the here and how it relates to the hereafter.
The physical, the emotional, the spiritual,
Last call. Last rites. Last ride.
I'm going to feature a new guest every week.
Someone in the know of the unknown.
Someone with their finger on the pulse of those without a pulse.
I think you see what I'm saying.
Starting tomorrow, March 1st., we dive in 6 feet deep and try to make a little sense of your chips and what happens when they get cashed.
We'll laugh, we'll cry. It'll be an emotional roller coaster.
I hope you all come along on this journey into eternal peace..

The popular Samoan adage ‘o le ala i le p**e o le tautua’ (the pathway to leadership is through service) is commonly understood by Samoans around the world as an important life value.

Enacting tautua (service) is one of the key fundamental tenets of being Samoan, both in traditional village contexts of the (mother)land and diaspora communities in transnational societies. Acts of service in a traditional village context centers on tasks and ways of being that show respect, obedience and diligence in honoring elders and families. .

I’m going to try to answer two or three messages a week in this new segment/format whatever you want to call it. Hey, content is king you know…so yea…I’m doing this now.
But be forewarned, I’m not going to be doing it well. Mostly because you guys write in with a lot of bizarre questions, but mostly because I’m trying to keep these videos short. And I’m not one of brevity.
Anyway, let’s do a thing.
Check it out.
