New week, two meets this week for the kiddo, as well as my new favorite photo of him. As Kashi says, "me with an attitude"…

Today, he swims against friends who he regularly swims with year around, so should be fun to see who wins this round.

🏴‍☠️☠️Keep Calm... The pirates of Shipwreck Cove are starting to arrive! Even though they already sunk their ship to get here in the shark infested waters of the Cove (front right side of the lawn!) and the poor pirate that already got bit on his leg! Have to add the kraken tentacles around the sinking ship, but since they are made of paper mache probably won't go out until a couple of nights before Halloween... Arrrrghhhhh!

With the exception of the conference and the state swim meet, the meet this weekend, the Columbia Invitational Meet (CoMo) is perhaps the biggest meet of the season with approximately 50 teams. Lasting two days, with teams from all over the state, it should be a fun meet for all the swimmers as well as the spectators!

Yesterday, during my morning walk at Chaminade while Kashi had swim team practice more of my fun doing iPhone photography. Walking along this path toward the sunrise, catching the light refraction of the morning in the ground fog.

Kashi had 7am swim practice this fine Saturday morning, and I decided to go for a walk around the school taking pics with the iPhone. However, not sure who was startled more, the deer or me, but before he moved at least I got the pic! 📷😂
