Another little BSD .300BO VSS update before shot show in a few weeks.

Test fire very shortly once I drill / press in a new barrel pin 😉

Cleaned up a few small details on our working prototype for some aesthetic pleasure… then took the opportunity to develop a custom AS/VAL folding stock grip module for quick stock swaps. 😉

There’s so much still left to do for this upcoming year, but it will all be worth it soon. I have a feeling 2025 is going to be epic 😘

Rebel SOS suppressor endcap repair a few weeks back I forgot to post...

Yes it’s a POS.. we are all aware, but there’s charm in being able to repair OEM parts to keep everything original.

Plus I wouldent have been able to match that paint color if I tried.

Just sharing a late Sunday night update on our 300BO VSS at home for shotshow 2025.

Finished fabing up the railed top cover and did a parkerized finish before coating.. 2 more to go.

Started from flat .045” thick sheet steel that we bent in house, then used some handmade templates to cut out the remaining features and shap d accordingly.

Everything got tacked in place, then rail was welded on top. Finally a some hidden retaining clips to mount the cover on the receiver and keep her on solid.

I got pi**ed off waiting for Lonewolf (or any other MFG) to make a threaded barrel for a G42 in .380..

So we put her under the knife and threaded the barrel for a custom extension with 1/2 x 28 tpi.

Unpopular opinion :

EVERYBODY WANTS THREADED BARRELS FOR THEIR SUB-COMPACT AND MICRO PISTOLS!!!!!!!!!

LISTEN UP MFGs!!!!!! 🤦‍♂️

Transferable MK Arms 760 had to get the extractor and ejector adjusted after nearly 40 years of blasting.

Someone in their infinite genius decided to weld it up and not re-cut it correctly…

The casings were dribbling out of the ejection port which was causing all sorts of jamming / feeding / ejection issues.

Some of the magazine feed lips needed to be adjusted as well because they are contacting the underside of the bolt.

Shoutout to Mr Richard Hoffman that is unfortunately no longer with us after a loosing battle with cancer. He was the go-to for this platform, and I could have used some of his help!

Back from a spontaneous little vacation and ready to attack this back log of work again.

Here’s the custom-made gas block for our “Prototype 300BO VSS at home”..

Turned from 4140 Carbon Steel, then oil blackened for rust prevention.

We decided to cut some Bravo (1.375 x24) threads on this gas block and port the barrel with (18x) .120 OD just after the chamber to keep her super sub sonic quiet 😉

I can’t wait to build the suppressor for her.

MK46 got her holes filled - drilled- and retapped for a direct mounted pic rail handguard.

That thin sheet metal also got some threaded reinforcement tabs welded to the back side for some extra hold down strength.

Ejection port cover also got trimmed to fit around the handguard.

He’s the update everyone has been bugging me about with the BSD-VSS.

Models done ✅ 100/100

Established vendors and manufacturing lines / processes ✅ 100/100

Parts manufacturing (as we speak) ✅ 100/100

Prototype models to be assembled after QC on finished parts. ( awaiting completed parts) 0/100

Prototype assembly / testing / finishing (when completed parts pass inspection and assembly) 0/100

300BO versions will be first, and then we will start on the 8.6BO variant.

But the best part….. an incredible MULTITUDE of features and add on accessories that we will offer with our 21st century modernized 2025 spec version for those who aren’t obsessed with “cLoNe CorReCT rrrreeeeeeeeeee” nonsense.

This is a long term project for us and just the start of the next latest and greatest development in the US fi****ms market 😉
