REPORTER/WRITER WANTED – FULL-TIME
The Lakefield Standard and Jackson County Pilot are seeking an energetic, motivated full-time Reporter/Writer to cover the people, events, and stories that make the Jackson area great communities to live, work, and play.
Whether your interests are in community news, local government, business, features, or sports, this position offers the opportunity to tell the stories that matter most to our readers.

Responsibilities include:
Covering community events, local news, and sporting events
Writing news stories, feature articles, and human-interest pieces
Developing story ideas and building relationships throughout the community
Taking photos for publication (photography experience is a plus, but not required)
Meeting deadlines while producing accurate, engaging content
