🚨 Howell Man Pleads Guilty in Manchester UTV Crash That Killed Passenger 🚨

Nearly five years after a tragic off-road crash at the Heritage Minerals Mine in Manchester, Stephen McGuire, 48, of Howell, has admitted guilt in the death of his passenger, 62-year-old James Grover.

Prosecutors say McGuire’s blood alcohol level was .127, well above the legal limit, when the UTV plunged into a lake and overturned, killing Grover and endangering three minors on board.

Sentencing is set for January.

💔 A Whiting couple lost everything in a devastating house fire — but their community is stepping up to help them rebuild.

Friends have launched a fundraiser to support Wilfredo “Al” Ramos and Ada Meacham, who escaped the blaze with only the pajamas on their backs. Their two beloved cats sadly didn’t make it, and it could take more than a year before they can return home.
