🚨 Community Alert: Search Intensifies for Missing Jackson Man

Authorities and multiple law enforcement agencies have returned to the vast Collier Mills Wildlife Management Area as the search for 22-year-old Mortimer “Morty” Wortman enters its third week.

Police say Morty vanished on Nov. 21 after being seen near the High Bridge Road entrance — and since then, the investigation has only grown more urgent. A large police presence was back in the woods again this week as agencies expanded the search across the 12,000-acre preserve.

Family members are pleading for answers, calling Morty a kind and unique young man who is deeply loved. A fundraiser created to support search efforts has already gained significant traction.

🚨 Former U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez has now been permanently banned from holding any public office or position of public trust in the state, following his federal convictions.

A Superior Court judge issued the order, meaning any attempt by Menendez to run, apply, or even seek an appointment could land him with a fourth-degree contempt charge.

This decision officially closes the door on any political comeback attempts in New Jersey.
