A small but dedicated crowd joined Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9691 on Veterans Day for two memorial services at Soldier Memorial Park in Howell and Lutz Park in Farmingdale.

The ceremonies included a presentation of the colors by Howell Township Police, a salute to the fallen, and moving remarks from veterans who urged the public to remember the true cost of our freedoms โ€” not just on Veterans Day and Memorial Day, but every day.
