Now guys, this is so crazy to me! But Shady Rays reached out to me to see if I would be interested in testing some of their products, and I’ve been waiting all summer to tell you guys about it, and the time is finally here! They sent me some of their premier products to try, which I am going to report upon, and then I’ll have the opportunity to meet up face-to-face with some of their staff to share my feelings about the products. Y’all, I’m OBSESSED!!!

My amazing sister sent me one of our brand new black hoodies, along with my FIRST Kingdom Catch branded T-shirt (also black - exactly like this hoodie, but a shirt), and it looks SO GOOD. Honestly, I’m just so impressed with the quality, and I think the pattern and logo (and the size) goes so hard in the paint, lol.

Gosh. Four months. That’s all this is, just four months of fish. The past two weeks have been really slow, and there’s been so much going on in my life. It has been hard for me to really try to get out there and catch some good ones. I am in a season of reflection right now, and I’m really just praying and considering my next steps. I have some cool things I want to tell you guys, but I also just want to do that in the right way, you know?

But I went back and just tagged some of the notable fish over the last four months starting now, and going back to May. There were quite a few bass that were in the 4 to 6 pound range, but nothing absolutely insane just yet. It’s coming. Also, this isn’t all the fish by ANY means—it’s crazy how many we’ve brought in!

But we did make insane memories, and God showed Himself faithful the entire time. I was blessed with an opportunity to minister to so many people, and to experience things I’ll never forget. More smiles and joy than I could ever tell you. If that’s what you need in your life, it comes from serving others. Stop asking how you can get more, and start praying about how you can give back more. Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

So here’s to the changing of seasons, friends. We will soon be starting fall, and for many of you one chapter of your book will end and a new one will begin. Let’s embrace every day with joy, and let’s look to our blessed Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit and let’s face our battles with faith. Here at Kingdom Catch, we host outreaches for young, vulnerable, kiddos in the community, and we are able to share the love of Christ through the joy of Fishing. I take people out fishing, we spend the day together, we pray together, we feed them, we catch a bunch of fish, and when we are done, they get to keep their fishing pole and a little tacklebox! It’s a BLAST!

This little girl was catching tons of fish that day, and after a couple hours, she got a huge hit, and she caught this very large tilapia. It was the biggest fish she had ever caught in her life, and she was just yelling for her mama. It was a moment she will never forget, and it was a moment I will never forget as well. It was really special. Enjoy it with me, this is such a cool video!

My friends, this one simple tip, will help you be the type of fisherman who knows how to cast a half a mile across the lake, or maybe out to the deepest trough in the saltwater to find that big fish you have been looking for!

I’ve been meaning to make this post for a while, and I’m glad I’m finally able to do it right now. Give this a try, because you are going to be so pleasantly surprised! I think I’m going to start making videos demonstrating helpful hints for other fisherman. Let me know if you would be interested in that!

Check this out friends, this popped up in memories yesterday, and I’m pretty sure this was 9-10 years ago (one of those)! Time moves SO quickly. I caught this big bowfin and I had no idea what it was at the time. My wife and I had recently gotten married at this point, and there was a big hurricane coming our way, and we got everything ready and then we had some free time so we went fishing. I was so stoked to catch this big thing, even though I had no clue what it was. 🤣 I certainly had no idea that 10 years later I’d have more under my belt than I could tell you, lol.

And just to juxtapose, this is a photo from earlier this morning before work with a nice little fat bass in my crazy dinosaur shirt 😁❤️.

Still at it, still giving God, praise, still loving my wife – in fact, so much more even than I did then. I love that woman more every single day, she is my best friend in the world.

There is a crisis of purpose in this world today. People don’t know what to do with their lives, and so many of us feel like we’re just flailing through open space, racing towards the finish line, not knowing what sport we are playing, and not knowing what prize we are competing for at the end. Jesus is the answer. When we put our faith in Christ completely, we become transformed, and God will begin to use you as a tool for His glory. Once we learn this, we also learn that God wants the best for us always, and no matter what happens, our lives will be worked together by the hands of God to do awesome things and spread love in this world. I know my mission, and my mission excites me. Does your mission in life excite you?

Hey dear friends! Today I wanted to share an absolutely perfect presentation for hooking worms/nightcrawlers. I’m sorry guys, I won’t argue with you, I believe in the deepest part of my heart that this is the absolute best way to do this, and we catch so many fish. Also, when this bait gets hit over and over again, the worm doesn’t just come on the hook, it tends to stay in place for a long time. Many casts.

So please, give it a shot and let me know how you like it! Once you toss it out, let it sit and wait for about five seconds, and then give it a couple small pops, and let it sit again, and repeat. Use anywhere from a 1-3ft leader on your rig, and a 1/8oz bullet weight behind the swivel. This is an excellent demonstration of a Carolina rig.
