Lunch at Ovation Bistro & Bar yesterday in Winter Haven. They do offer a lunch menu which we ordered from. Love how the buns are stamped with their branding. Food & service were great!

Hike 2 of 2 today at North Walk in Water. Diane and I agreed that it was a more enjoyable and prettier trail than SUMICA. Part of the trail went around the pond surrounded by lily pads and I guess fishing is allowed there. The GPS coordinates for the parking and geocaching location were both off on this one. Again, we did end up finding the geocaching location though. 😁 Another stamp added to my Trek Ten Trails card and another new hike ✅.

Hike 1 of 2 today, both new trails for us and another stamp added to my Trek Ten Trails. Parking coordinates were correct on this one but geocaching location was showing 45 minutes drive time away. We did end up finding the tree though! This location was just ok as far as hiking in FL. I may/may not go back but it was nice to visit a new spot!

Who’s ready to explore the wild side of Polk County? 🐊🌿

I spent the morning at Circle B Bar Reserve and it did not disappoint! There is something so grounding about the trails here—today was filled with massive gators, Great Blue Herons, Sandhill Cranes and some very photogenic turtles.

If you’re looking for a reason to get outside, you have to check out the Trek Ten Trails program. It’s a fun way to discover new spots across the county. You can grab your trail card right here at Circle B or at any Polk County library. Stamp your way through 10 trails and earn your bragging rights! 🥾✨
