Let’s do things that actually feel like us.
Let’s play laser tag on a random Saturday afternoon and laugh way too hard like we’re kids again. Or take a spontaneous trip to Tennessee, hike the mountains, breathe in air that reminds us life is bigger than our routines.
Let’s wander through a small town festival, share a red velvet funnel cake, and not care who gets powdered sugar on their shirt first.
Let’s throw a dart at a map, hop in the truck, and end up in a town nobody talks about, but somehow feels like a memory we’ll keep forever.
Let’s fill the bed of the truck with pillows and blankets, lay back under the stars, learn constellations we’ll probably forget, and make up our own names anyway.
Let’s wake up early, hit a local farmer’s market at 8 a.m., buy fresh peaches, and make peach tea just to drink it together later like it’s the best thing in the world.
Let’s grab snacks, a blanket, climb up to the rooftop, watch the sunset, and talk about childhood memories.... the good ones, the hard ones, and the ones that made us who we are.
Because I don’t want loud nights that fade by morning.
I want quiet moments that echo for a lifetime.
