Had a couple nights off between gigs and voiceover sessions, so naturally we built a thing.
Thockwave makes your keyboard play a sound on every keystroke — a real typewriter (Enter does the whole carriage return, bell and all), a set of tuned congas, or gunfire. It's free, it's tiny, and it runs quietly in your system tray.
Windows only, and heads up: because of what it does, Windows may throw an "unknown publisher" warning the first time. Click More info → Run anyway.
We've included the full source code in the download for anyone who wants to check under the hood.
