Day of the shot! The next step in my injury saga!

The shot wasn’t nearly as horrendous as I imagined it would be and there was only a single cortisone shot after the initial shot to numb the area!
Doc says it can take 48 hours to take effect. We’ll see! I really hope this fixes me! 🙁

UNBOXING NEW RUNNING SHOES: Hoka Mach X3

Updated in the best possible way to improve upon what was already a fast shoe is the new Mach X3! I loved the Mach X2 except for the heel. That’s been fixed and now the Mach X3 is the perfect compliment to your race shoes, or could be a legit race-day option itself!

What are your thoughts, feelings, and opinions about me doing a short test-run in a few days? I’ve been off of running for over 6 weeks. Is it time to see how far the healing has come (even if I’m still feeling a little discomfort now and then)?

Looking for that premium underfoot experience that will take care of your body even when it’s tired? The new Vomero Plus could be what you’re looking for! The V+ provide a soft breathable upper on top of a huge stack of Nike’s Zoom X foam. There’s also a lot of outsole rubber, so the Vomero Plus will go the distance!

Ugh! The frustration is real! In a nutshell, more waiting for a diagnosis of this running injury because I wasn’t scheduled for what the doctor ordered. 🙄
