So excited to be traveling to a Reno tomorrow for the Coeur d’Alene Art auction and watch this beauty sell! I’ll be also taking part in a documentary that will be filming there, more about that in the next newsletter! This is titled Yosemite Mischief- 1930 and it’s a 40 x 30” this is lot 234 and it’s estimated to sell between $15,000-$25,000.

Next to my auction piece at the .m.russell museum.

This year, my painting Queen of the Tetons–399 is lot 192. The painting honors the special female grizzly bear who we lost this year. Grizzly 399 was 28 years old and lived in the Grand Teton National Park and the Bridger-Teton National Forest for her entire life. She was followed by over 40 wildlife photographers and she gave birth to at least 22 cubs during her lifetime. She weighed almost 400 pounds and when standing on her hind legs was over seven feet tall!!

I’m headed to Kansas City this morning. This painting of mine will be auctioned off for the American Royal’s 125th year anniversary. The organization. asked me to do a painting for the event and the auction takes place tonight. This is one of the largest Hereford auctions in the country !
