We are so very sorry that BOE President Nora Katzenberger's candidate's announcement article which was received this past Friday through email instead of the website ended up getting left out of our printed edition. Nora, who is an incumbent on the Lakewood School Board, would have received placement above the fold of the printed paper, on page one, as is our policy with all incumbents.
To make up for our error, Nora's article has been placed at the top of page one on our website, and unlike the others candidates, will be shared through our bluesky, X and Facebook accounts.
This is an oversight of the Observer, and should not reflect on Nora Katzenberger in any way.
Jim O'Bryan

My name is Nora Katzenberger, and I am seeking a second term on the Lakewood School Board. I am grateful to have had the privilege of serving the children, families, and schools of Lakewood for the past four years. As a parent of two Lakewood students, I know our schools offer every child the opport...
