A year ago, "The Radio and Other Stories" was released to universal acclaim. Readers around the world started "tuning in" to the Radio and this phenomenon gradually took a life of its own. To mark the book's anniversary, we're releasing a video that showcases a cross-section of those who "tuned in".
Grab your popcorn (or cup of tea), sit back and watch the video's premiere at 8AM GMT +1 (Berlin).

Colours of the Alphabet

Colours of the Alphabet tells the story of three children and their families over two school terms, and asks the question: does the future have to be in English? The official language in Zambia is English, but there are seven national languages and 72 ethnic languages spoken in the country. How does anyone communicate in this living Tower of Babel?

TELL THEM WE ARE RISING

THE STORY OF BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES

The rich history of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) began before the end of slavery, flourished in the 20th century, and profoundly influenced the course of the nation for over 150 years — yet remains largely unknown. With Tell Them We Are Rising: The Story of Black Colleges and Universities, the latest documentary from Stanley Nelson (Black Panthers, Freedom Riders) and Marco Williams, the powerful story of the rise, influence, and evolution of HBCUs comes to life.
