Here’s my buttercream recipe. This is the OG recipe that I use. The one that is more heat resistant is half butter and half shortening. Same amount of sugar, vanilla, and salt. The one thing that is really important with this recipe is that you give it time to set up. After you make this, it’s going to be thin, depending on where you live. I typically like to make it the night before I need it and leave it at room temperature.
