I believe this quote from The Rings of Power to be true.

"…the way of the faithful is committing to pay the price, even if the cost cannot be known."

To always rely solely on facts to take decisions is not faith is it?

I realized this morning that as Christians we are especially called to BE the Good News of Jesus during this time of a faltering President, the threat of our Democracy being destroyed and nations throughout the world collapsing into authoritarianism.

Either Jesus is the Savior we trust and believe Him to be, especially spiritually and perhaps physically, or He is not. Our constant, unwavering and total faith MUST be in Him if we believe Him to be the Christ...the Messiah...Emmanuel....the Source and Sustainer of our hope.

We all go through significant and sometimes traumatic changes in our lives. One moment we’re going one direction, the next another. We used to call them mid-life crises, but we can actually have (more or less) 3-5 of these over the course of our lives. I call them Pivotal Life Transitions.

This book is about six of these PLTs in my life and how my wife, Donna and I were able to keep going through them. Our hope was strengthened by these experiences and I would like to share that hope with you too!
