Not all migraines look the same.

Some don’t just come with pain. Some take your strength, your words, your balance, your vision, and parts of your independence … even if only for a while.

Living with hemiplegic migraines means fighting a battle most people can’t see, while still trying to show up, work, love, smile, pretend you’re okay and live a normal life.

Some days I look fine on the outside, but my body is doing everything it can just to keep going.

I’m sharing this because invisible battles are still battles and someone else needs to read this 🫶🏻

And every time I get back up after my body forces me to stop … that is the strength I use to keep going.
