We hit up Foodie Fest in Palmdale and… wow, mixed feelings.

👉 The food was AMAZING – shoutout to Coyote Elote, Rice Balls of Fire, and Chicas Funnel Cakes. They absolutely carried the day.

My wife is the baked potato 🥔 queen, so she went all in on the traditional potato from Coyote Elote. Funnel cake came in at a strong #2 for her.

I devoured the sushi burrito from Rice Balls of Fire 🌯 – unique, fresh, and a straight 10/10.

👎 But here’s the real issue: the music was rough, and worse, there was nowhere to sit. You can’t call it a Foodie Fest if people have to stand around juggling food with no tables or seating. We didn’t even bother with the VIP section because, again, no place to actually enjoy the food.

At the end of the day, the flavors made it worth going, but if this fest is coming back next year, they really need to fix the basics. Give people a place to sit, vibe, and actually enjoy the food they just stood in line for.

I promised myself I’d stick to ONE pretzel on this diet. Technically I’m not lying—this one just happens to be bigger than my head. People can argue all day about whether this is diet-approved or diet-delusional… but either way, I’m finishing it.

Hidden right in the heart of Anaheim is a theme park that’s been around for decades… yet somehow no one ever talks about it. From castles to costumed characters, it feels like stepping into another world. Crazy that this place has stayed off the radar for so long 👀 Would you visit?

Came to Costco for a little snack and walked out with 10 hot dogs instead. Of course I had to take down one like a seagull, no bites, no chewing, just straight Costco hotdog chaos. Nothing beats that $1.50 hotdog and soda deal, but sometimes you’ve got to risk your dignity (and your throat) for the content. If you’ve ever seen a seagull swallow food whole at the beach, that’s exactly the energy.
