How do you build a case against a complex counterfeiting network?

OpSec worked with luxury Italian fashion house Furla to eliminate a persistent infringer network. The bad actor in question, FurlaBee, had registered a fraudulent trademark in China and France.

Using their Online Brand Protection technology, OpSec quickly detected instances of brand impersonation. This data supported the legal action to take down FurlaBee for good.

Lisa Crociani, Legal Counsel at Furla said:

“OpSec has helped Furla take down online infringements, which allows our commercial team to maintain excellent customer relations all over the world.”

Brands are starting to explore whether a new kind of NFT is possible. One that connects digital and physical elements, like a mixed-media artwork.

With the right technology, an NFT can unlock a physical product to amplify sales and create exclusive fan experiences.
