Get ready for a weekend of fun and excitement at the Garrard County Rural Heritage To***co Festival!

🎉 This year’s festival will be on Friday, September 12th, and Saturday, September 13th, 2025! There is a fantastic lineup of activities that everyone will enjoy!

🎡 Both days will be packed with excitement, featuring a carnival, bubble machine, food trucks, bounce houses, helicopter rides, wrestling, and a wide variety of vendors and music. 🎶

🎤 On Friday evening, show off your singing talent! Karaoke sign-ups begin at 5 PM, and the fun kicks off at 6 PM.

🚗 Saturday promises even more excitement with a car show from 10 AM to 2 PM, hosted by Glory Day’s Car Club and sponsored by Whitaker Bank of Lancaster. Don't miss the Parade at noon, with lineup starting at 9 AM at the GEC Building.

🐴 Enjoy horse rides, a petting zoo, and arm wrestling starting at 2 PM. At 3:00 step into The Grand who will be hosting the Christian group, 7eventh Time Down and the Melodic Brotherhood (tickets still available). In the evening, join us for Deal or No Deal at 8 PM, followed by a performance by Brad Hardin. We'll wrap up the night with a spectacular fireworks display at 10 PM! 🎆

Today we are Celebrating a Successful 2025 Garrard County Chamber of Commerce Sharpshooter Showdown!

We're thrilled to announce the resounding success of the 2025 Garrard County Chamber of Commerce Sharpshooter Showdown! Held on September 5th at the Burgin Gun Range, a proud member of our Chamber, this event was a spectacular day of skill, camaraderie, and networking, all thanks to our incredible sponsors, Allison Abrasives and Marksbury, also members of our chamber.

Participants enjoyed a day filled with thrilling competitions, with winners taking home fantastic prizes, including trophies and Marksbury meat packages. The Biscuit Buggy delighted everyone with delicious food and coffee, making the day even more enjoyable.

Congratulations to Our Winners:
- **22 Division**: Roy Glaze and Chris Bolin (Team "The Slow Pokes") from Allison Abrasives dominated, winning 4 out of 6 stages. Coty Collins and Blake Clow from The Marksbury Team, "Kill Shot," claimed 2 stages.
- **9mm Division**: The Abrasive Shooters, TJ Boudreau and Isaac Hapnowicz, showcased their prowess by winning all 6 stages.
- **Ladies Division**: The Anderson Ladies, Tina Hitchner and Kim Bemis, triumphed over "The Totin Tootsies" from Allison Abrasives.

In addition:
- **Fastest String in 9mm**: Isaac Hapnowicz with a remarkable 4.12 seconds on stage 3A.
- **Fastest String in 22LR**: Roy Glaze with an impressive 2.88 seconds on stage 3A.
- **Fastest Stage Team**: Roy Glaze and Chris Bolin for the 22LR and Isaac Hapnowicz and TJ Boudreau for 9mm.

FYI folks… if you use Google Maps to get to the shoot, you’re not gonna find it! Apple Maps WILL get you there though!

If coming from Danville area or Lancaster area (or passing through those)- Google Burgin Dairy Barn. (Great place to eat lunch after!). This will take you to the 4 way stop in Burgin. Go past the Dollar General Store and go a few more miles on KY 33. Look for the signage!!!

If coming from the Lexington or Lawrenceburg area, Google Shaker Village Ky. When you arrive there turn left from Lexington and right from Harrodsburg (Lawrenceburg) onto KY 33. Stay on this road until you see the signage!

Are you ready to take aim and make your mark? 📍 The 2nd Annual Sharpshooter Showdown is back, and it's bigger and better than ever! Who will take home the trophy, the bragging rights, and a delicious meat package from Marksbury Farm? 🌟 Sign up today for this incredible day of fun and networking!

Event Details:
**Date:** SEPT. 5TH
**Categories:**
- *9mm* - Any 9mm pistol, competitors must draw from a holster.
- *.22 LR* - Any .22 firearm is acceptable; start from the ready position.

Teams of two will compete for prizes and bargain rights! 🏆🔥 Singles will be paired together.

Prizes include:
**Champions of each division** (.22 and 9mm) will take home a trophy and brisket.
----- **Fastest Stage and Fastest String awards** for both divisions.
Special categories and prizes also for **Law Enforcement** and **Women's Champions**.
