"Don't dispose of instant mashed potatoes by pouring them in the sink. They clog the pipes like concrete!" - Mike, Lancaster's Handyman. Mike's family has a long history of being small business owners here in Lancaster County. Their first business was the New Holland Clarion, a local newspaper in print from 1873 to 1950...so you could say that being a small business owner is in Mike's blood.

Mike worked for his family business, Whitmore Printing, running and operating the equipment for as long as he can remember. He now runs his own small business, Lancaster's Handyman. He specializes in anything from painting, basic plumbing, and flooring installation to bathroom remodels and deck installations.

Mike has 2 kids -- his daughter is in FFA and also casually flies airplanes at the age of 17. His son works on automobiles and plans to open a shop of his own. It's clear that both kids got the entrepreneur gene, too.

 Mike has an eye for bathroom remodels.

Whether you need a quick remodel or a high-end makeover, his finishing touches get him rave reviews! He's also an outdoorsman. Kayaking, mountain biking, and golfing are some of his favorites.

Sorry it’s been a crazy few months. Getting back to the the second to last post to show the after pictures. It was the most problematic house We have had to deal with. Very few things went well on this project. After being 2 weeks past the projected completion date it turned out very nice.

The carpet just went in today!!! Thursday it will be on the market. It came a long way in just over 3 weeks, we did have to wait for the carpet to be installed. The pictures look darker than it actually is.
