Friendly reminder: Kids are washable. ❤️

I know my parenting style isn't everybody's cup of tea, but one thing I do know is that I'll do everything in my power to let childhood last as long as possible.

How did we do that today?
✨ Built and destroyed Magnatile creations (lots of noise and a little mess—but they cleaned it up!)
✨ Headed to the creek to catch fish (sand, water, and mud)
✨ Had a water balloon fight with my oldest (clothes dry!)
✨ Dug through the recycling bin and turned "trash" into custom masterpieces (paint EVERYWHERE)

Childhood doesn't have to be busy, scheduled, chaotic, or expensive. Give your kids time to be kids. Let them create. Let them explore. Let them get dirty. Get outside with them. Most importantly, have fun alongside them.

Low-cost, low-prep activity for littles! 🎨

Need a few minutes of peace and quiet? Cut up a coloring page into several pieces and give each child a "mystery" section to color. Once everyone is finished, tape the pieces back together to reveal the completed masterpiece!

I've added hundreds of events to the summer calendar to help your family make the most of the season. From playgrounds and story times to festivals, nature programs, indoor play, and special events, there are plenty of ways to get out and explore Lancaster County.

Now, I'm a big believer in letting kids be bored, play outside, use their imagination, and enjoy unstructured time. BUT... I also know there are days when everyone needs a change of scenery for their own sanity! 😅

The good news? Lancaster has something for every family and every budget, indoors, outdoors, free, and paid activities included.

There is still time to sign up for Revival Athletics’ Mini Camps!

Summer fun is here with our one-day mini camps designed for ages 4 to 8 years old.

Each camp includes trampoline and tumbling instruction, games, a popsicle break, and open gym time for a half day of active learning and fun. Camps are available on June 16 and June 18, both from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Families can sign up through our website for all camp details and registration.
