Let’s hear it for the Class of 2026 Publications staff, the creative minds behind the 79th edition of The Golden Arrow!

This year’s scrapbook theme could not have fit this group any better. Scrapbooks are made up of individual memories, styles, and moments, and this staff found a way to blend all of those unique personalities into one complete story. What impressed me most was how thoughtful this group was throughout the process. It would have been easy for everyone to just focus on “their” pages and do their own thing, but instead they worked together to make sure the entire book felt connected from cover to cover.

Speaking of the cover, it was completely designed by one of our own staff members, and it set the tone perfectly for what this book became: creative, personal, and full of heart.

I’m incredibly proud of the effort this group put forward all year long. They spent countless hours brainstorming ideas, taking photos, designing layouts, updating media around the school, and making sure the story of this year was told the right way. The creativity and attention to detail they brought every day made this one of the most enjoyable groups I’ve had the chance to advise.

Now… I’d be lying if I said the boys weren’t maybe just a little distracted during basketball playoff season. There may have been a few moments where watching film took priority over finishing captions and layouts 😅 Thankfully, the girls made sure everyone stayed on track and got their work done.

One of the things I’ll always remember about this group is the fun we had during our divider photo shoots. Those days were full of activities at Vespermans. throwing snowballs, blowing flowers, and of course, laughs, the kind of memories that make this class special beyond just producing a yearbook.

Thank you for the time, energy, and passion you poured into this book and into telling the story of Lancaster High School. I’m extremely proud of this group and excited to see where life takes each of you next.

Best of luck in the future, Class of 2026 Publications Staff and thank you for making the 79th edition of The Golden Arrow something special.

-Mr. Richard
