The hardcore laminate…at one time, this was a true status symbol at any festival.

How did I ever have them? I was just around. I truly contributed nothing. I didn’t help load in. I didn’t man the merch table. I was just a guy who got the access and free backstage beer. In my defense, I often acquired passes like this after paying the full ticket price. My friends were nice enough to not leave me behind when it was backstage time and they knew I wasn’t going to try to sniff their co***ne. What were they going to do with those extra passes anyway?

These have been hanging in my garage for years. A few notable Baltimore shows. A couple This Is Hardcore fests with Stout and Slumlords respectively. A couple East Coast Tsunamis and even a random ass metalcore show at Sonar that my old friends in August Burns Red headlined.

I’ll never forget watching football on their bus when I couldn’t afford it in my apartment. Then they played and I finally realized how popular they were.

A lot of people who want to make money off of you will tell you what you’ve got to do. Advertisers, PR folks, social media experts, etc.

You don’t have to do s**t.

If you’re being creative just for the love of it, keep it that way.

I have and I still can’t wait to quit this s**t. 18 months to go. Who wants to take over the podcast and site?

Yes, I’m serious.

I think this is the last one. I knew I had those showcase prints somewhere. Never missed one and I wish there were prints for all the PA editions as well.

Two .a389 bangers. The annual showcase in Baltimore was a nice perk of living in the city.

That AF date in Frederick, MD also served as the record release show for my bands 7”. There were a zillion others playing including Sheer Terror, Suburban Scum, and Fire & Ice.

Off With Their Heads played the best I ever saw them in the Lizard Lounge and I think that’s the last time I was there.

Random free one at The Sidebar and it’s a pretty loaded gig.

As for that Good Riddance print, I’m not sure how I acquired it. I didn’t go for sure, but I would!

More random B9 stuff. I loved the art for the H2O covers stuff, so I bought the posters as they rolled out. I’ll never forget the disappointment of opening the one that was signed. I think that kept me from ever hanging any of them, but I can’t really remember. I moved a lot. A few more promo posters for On The Rise, Breathe In, and Slapshot.

I got that Mongoloids from Screenin’ For A Change. I had a few of their prints at one point. Integrity promo for Howling. One of the best records of the era. And last, the coolest NBA print ever that I have had since buying it at the county fair as a kid.

More shows I definitely attended, even if I spent most of that TUI record release at the bar down the street watching the NFL draft and playing pool. Sick gig though. Always bothered me that Earth Crisis didn’t get their logo on that first ECT fest poster. Legendary weekend though. Others pictured = all good.

The last two are really cool prints that I had on my walls for years. No idea who made them. Maybe you know?

Some wild shows I mostly attended. Why is that Antidote one signed? It was a weird week where old hardcore dudes thought I wanted them to sign s**t. Keith Morris did it to a 7” I bought from him as well. The first one and last one I definitely was not at. All others 100%.
