Another Easter Jeep Safari in the books!
This was a big one! 60 years of EJS and 85 years of Jeep brand. The team was hit with some cold wet weather in the morning but that isn't enough to keep us off the rocks. However, two of the flatties did stay at home under a tarp while we piled into the nearest 4 door and headed for Fins & Things. We had new Jeeps, old Jeeps, and some pretty unique builds done by Unofficial Use Only. While our apple pies cooked on the manifold, Roger set up camp at an overlook and grilled burgers for the group. All meat was provided by RM Cattle and cooked to perfection (we are getting spoiled).

The annual team trail ride was tons of fun. We did the north loop of Fins & Things, which included a BBQ lunch at the overlook. A big thanks extended to all that joined us.

Yesterday we found four of the original Expedicion de las Americas Jeep CJ-7s out on the trail together during the Red Rock 4-Wheelers / Easter Jeep Safari. Tomorrow they will be in the vintage vehicle show at the Old Spanish Trail Arena. Come by and check them out.

For more than four decades, the Red Rock 4-Wheelers have helped protect and preserve the trails and land use in and
around one of the most iconic off-road destinations in the world – Moab, Utah.
Guided by their mission, “to have fun and promote responsible 4-wheeling,” the Red Rock 4-Wheelers donate their own
time, vehicles and resources to maintain trails, host cleanups, mark and fence routes to prevent trail widening, and ensure
continued access to public lands for everyone who loves them.
Based in Moab, the club took over the annual Easter Jeep Safari in 1982 and has stewarded the event ever since.
In recognition of the club’s unwavering commitment, the Jeep brand and Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) by Mopar
collaborated to design and build a custom 2026 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, playfully named “Red Rock,” as a dedicated
donation vehicle for the Red Rock 4-Wheelers. Rather than creating a showpiece, the team engineered a true workhorse,
purpose-built with the tools, capability and durability needed to support year-round trail maintenance and cleanup
efforts across Moab’s rugged terrain.
