Wide Open Wednesday aims to establish a platform dedicated to preserving, safeguarding, and chronicling the history of local dirt track racing in the tristate area, encompassing its past, present, and future. We feature drivers, owners, crew members, track staff, photographers, and local sponsors who contribute to the sport.

All of us here at Wide Open Wednesday are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dominick Antonelli mom.

She was a very special lady who supported Dom and the entire Bomb Squad wholeheartedly—100 percent. You could always see her at the racetrack, proudly supporting her family. The last time I saw her was at Wall Stadium, and that is a memory I will always cherish.

We are going to miss you, Mom, but we will always carry you in our hearts—so you will be with us forever.

Our love, thoughts, and prayers go out to Dom and his entire family during this difficult time.
